Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Marissa Mulder in I'll Follow The Sun, the songbooks of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Ms. Mulder puts her unique vocal style and interpretation into the incredibly gorgeous catalogue of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, focusing on the enduring and often tumultuous friendships and musical partnership of two of the most important songwriters of our time. The evening will feature iconic songs such as "Ticket To Ride", "Blackbird", "Across The Universe", "Don't Let Me Down," and more!

On this day we're celebrating the birthday of multiple Tony Award-winner, television star, and former gubernatorial candidate, the great Cynthia Nixon!

It was a happy time at Cafe Centro last night. Danny Bacher brought his Jazz, Vocals, and Comedy to the Cabaret and joined forces with the Michael Masci trio. Danny has all the talents to perfectly pay homage to the three musician entertainers he celebrated in his show….Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan. Danny plays 'happy music' and his enthusiasm and joy transferred to the Cafe Centro audience. As they say, 'the joint was jumpin', with Michael on piano, Paul Shewchuck on bass, and Cielo Blue, drums.

Marvelous Marilyn Maye, at the peak of a miraculous career at 90, returns to Minneapolis for the first time since 2010 for a four-show major engagement at the lakeside supper club Crooners in March.  Maye, a practitioner without peer of a classic American nightclub style that Crooners audiences are embracing, plays the club's newly refurbished, 200-seat Crooners MainStage in back-to-back early and late shows (5:30pm and 8pm), on Saturday and Sunday March 23 and 24.  Joining her for this four-show weekend stand will be her New York music director Tedd Firth on piano, leading a trio with locals Gary Raynor on bass (a Maye vet) and David Schmalenberger on drums.

A "first-rate singer of unusual refinement" with "a voice that traverses genres" (New York Times), Michael Winther, making his Birdland Theater solo debut, joins forces with award-winning jazz pianist, Matt Baker for a unique mix of classic, romantic standards and contemporary love songs as well as some discoveries from the contemporary musical theater - just in time for Valentine's Day!

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes back world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and singer Jessica Molaskey, a duo Time Magazine calls the "Astaire-Rodgers of the cabaret world." Bay Area Cabaret audiences will have the chance to see, or choose between, two varied programs:  The first, at 3:30 is a centennial tribute to Nat King Cole, a Venetian Room regular, whose work is celebrated on Mr. Pizzarelli's upcoming CD, Centenially Yours. The second show, American Stories, at 7:30, is a duo show by John and his talented wife Jessica that debuted at Cafe Carlyle and features an eclectic mix of music by George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Nicks and the couple's signature mashups and medleys. Aligned both in their love of the American Songbook and their desire to expand and present it to new audiences, Bay Area Cabaret and John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica enjoy a partnership that reaches back well over a decade.

Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical musical memoir, will play a show at downtown's alt-cabaret, Pangea, on Feb. 22nd, 2019 at 7pm. With a signature mixture of pop and Broadway played only by Music Director/Pianist Jude Obermuller and with an appearance by Special Guest, Sean Harkness, I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music.

Kick off the New Year with not one but FOUR acclaimed Karens of cabaret, joining forces onstage for the first time! "Everything's Coming Up Karens," slated for Friday evening, January 25, features performances by Karen Oberlin, Karen Mack, Karen Gross, and Karen Kohler, with musical direction by Tedd Firth. This one-night-only show at NYC's supper club and cabaret hotspot Beach Cafe is not to be missed. Dinner at 8 pm, showtime at 9:30 pm. LML Music will present acclaimed cabaret and recording artist Stacy Sullivan in a one night only concert celebrating the release of her new album entitled Tornado Alley, at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 8:00PM.

This Valentine's Day, acclaimed chanteuse Amanda King will bring her new show, Movie Musical Magic, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for one performance only. Rock icon Buster Poindexter returns to Cafe Carlyle, April 2-13. As a founding member of the New York Dolls and in a prolific solo career, David Johansen has been a seminal force in rock and roll, influencing countless singers and bands to this day. Buster Poindexter, Johansen's celebrated alter ego showcases his elegant crooning through R&B ballads. As Poindexter, his previous engagements have been sellouts and he has become one of the most revered artists to grace Cafe Carlyle.

Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth. At this residency, he'll perform an expertly curated set of rock and pop classics and originals that cut deep. From the raw emotionality of Roy Orbison to the retro cool of 007, Young will bring the iconic room alive with a timelessness, mystery and warmth that hearkens back while heralding into the future.

This month NY Madness is proud to co-present a Midterm Mayhem! A Doomsday Cabaret, featuring excerpts from the new musical, 'Red Sky'. Red Sky is a parable for our times, and features, Danielle Alonzo, Jonas Barranca, Eden Eernissee, Steven Halliwell, Timothy Mullins, Chuk Obasi, and Ansi Rodriguez. The show will take place on Sunday, October 28th at 8pm at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). November 9th Forever is co-producing this special event. Also featuring Voting Rights activist Victor Pate from the National Action Network.

Singer-songwriter, actress and producer Rita Wilson makes her return to Cafe Carlyle, October 16-20 with Rita Wilson: Liner Notes. Stephen Holden of The New York Times wrote of her debut residency: '[If you] closed your eyes at certain moments you could imagine you were cruising down a Southern California highway in the early 1970s. Sandwiched between the music of Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne on the car radio was a promising new voice whose sound fit right in with theirs.' Rita Wilson's forthcoming residency will go 'behind the music' to discover stories leading to songs that have become the soundtrack to so many lives. The performances will include friends who just happen to have written some of the most memorable songs of this century and last - for fascinating revelations about how their creations came to be.
