Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that Tony Award winner Laura Benanti will assume the role of Eliza Doolittle in its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, for a limited engagement beginning Tuesday, October 23 and currently scheduled through Sunday, February 17, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Lauren Ambrose, who originated the role in this production, will play her final performance on Sunday, October 21st before leaving to begin work on M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming Apple series.

CBS Announces Plans for Television and Film Production Facility Near Toronto

CBS has secured a long-term lease on a 260,000 square-foot space located in the city of Mississauga, 18 miles from downtown Toronto, with plans to establish 'CBS Stages Canada,' a multi-use production facility that will include six soundstages, production offices, support facilities and auxiliary services for large-scale television and film production.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced a new original straight-to-series order for WHY WOMEN KILL, a darkly comedic drama created by Marc Cherry ('Desperate Housewives,' 'Devious Maids'). The series will be produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. Creator Marc Cherry will serve as executive producer alongside Imagine's Brian Grazer ('Empire,' 'Genius') and Francie Calfo ('Empire,' 'Genius'), and Acme Productions' Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.

Fleet Foxes have announced a special limited-edition collection to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album, entitled First Collection 2006 – 2009, to be released by Nonesuch in Europe and Sub Pop for the rest of the world on November 9, 2018. The package features content spanning the early days of Fleet Foxes' career, including the self-titled full-length debut album on 12” vinyl, as well as the Sun Giant EP on 10” vinyl and the first vinyl releases of both the very limited-edition, previously only self-released The Fleet Foxes EP on 10” and B-sides & Rarities on 10”. See full tracklisting below. In addition to its musical offerings, the release will feature a 32-page booklet including show flyers, lyrics, and artwork from the period. For the week ending Sept. 14, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT beat its nearest competition in viewers (3.83m vs. 2.33m, +64%) according to Nielsen live plus 3-day ratings. THE LATE SHOW delivered its largest live plus 3-day weekly audience and its first live plus 3-day win against a first-run week of “The Tonight Show” in adults 18-49 since the week ending April 20.
