Last night Vampire Weekend performed “Sympathy” from their widely acclaimed album, Father of the Bride on the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Having previously been guests of Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report, Vampire Weekend returned to the Ed Sullivan Theater for their first Late Showappearance since Colbert took the helm.

The triple-threat artist embarks on her second exciting season as a saxophonist with the world-renowned Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The 2019-2020 season kicks off with a three-night stand, which started September 12, and runs through September 14, featuring the music of the 'South African Songbook: Celebrating 25 Years of Democracy' at its home base at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater in New York City.

Emmy Award-winning comedian and writer Judy Gold shares the stage for the first time ever with Boston-area cabaret sensation and Norton Award winner Varla Jean Merman at the Huntington Theatre Company for one night only on Saturday, October 19 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Performance times are 6pm and 9pm. Produced by Mark Cortale, these two extraordinary talents will deliver what is sure to be an unforgettable evening of music, stand-up, and all-around hilarity. The Judy and Varla show features Gerald Goode at the piano.

NBC (4.822 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1) was the most-watched network on Wednesday thanks to a new 'America's Got Talent' (8.436 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and the season finales of 'Songland' (3.847 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and 'Hollywood Game Night' (2.182 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Ansel Elgort stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about his upcoming film, The Goldfinch. During the interview, Colbert congratulated Elgort for landing the lead role of Tony in the upcoming West Side Story film.

Platinum award-winning Welsh songstress Donna Lewis and producer, arranger, mixer and engineer David Baron have teamed up again on 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)' their own rendition of the original by Kate Bush released on 30 August via Here and Now Recordings.
