NBC (8.139 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was back in front among adults 18-49 on Tuesday with its mix of 'The Voice' (8.831 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3), 'This Is Us' (8.795 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) and 'New Amsterdam' (6.791 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4).

Last night Taylor Mac performed a stirring rendition of Patti Smith's iconic "People Have the Power" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with members of Stay Human, the Jon Batiste-fronted house band, and Mac's own ensemble. Taylor also chatted with Stephen about A 24-Deacde History of Popular Music among other topics.

The Drama League has announced additional special guests for its 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has claimed the late-night ratings week of Oct. 22-26 in the key adult 18-49 demographic over “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

The Second City's A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens returns to Portland Center Stage at The Armory with a new Scrooge played by Isaac Lamb, new jokes, and the same uproariously funny experience Portland audiences have come to expect. Twist Your Dickens begins preview performances on Nov. 27, opens on Nov. 30, and runs through Dec. 23 on the U.S. Bank Main Stage. Ron West returns to direct. Rebecca Sohn joins the cast, while Darius Pierce, Sam Dinkowitz, Chantal DeGroat, Laura Modica, and Nicholas Kessler return with their signature,irreverent take on some of the season's most iconic characters. Written by The Colbert Report alumni and improv comedy veterans Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort, Twist Your Dickens cuts through the typical sweetness of the season to offer something bold, fresh, and acerbically funny. 

FOX (8.947 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) held onto the top spot on Thursday thanks to the 'Thursday Night Football Pre-Game' (7.285 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) and 'Thursday Night Football' (9.279 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1).

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, a Tony Award winner that surprised even the critics with its overwhelming success on Broadway, will open at the Orpheum on October 30 and run through November 4, 2018.

FOX (11.317 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) was of course the top draw on Wednesday thanks to its coverage of the 'World Series, Game 2' (11.317 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1).

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti assumes the role of Eliza Doolittle in its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, for a limited engagement beginning tonight, Tuesday, October 23. She is currently scheduled through Sunday, February 17.

Today, Young the Giant announce dates for their 2019 Mirror Master Tour in support of the new full-length album of the same name, released earlier this month via Elektra Records. Mirror Master includes recently released tracks 'Simplify' and 'Call Me Back', along with the musing single 'Superposition'. In addition to the newly announced show dates, the band is currently touring this fall across the US with LIGHTS as main support.

Today, North Carolina-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise unveiled details for their 2019 touring plans.
