For the week ending Friday, Nov. 15 (week 8 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT beat its closest competition (“Jimmy Kimmel Live”) by +67% in viewers (3.39m versus 2.03m). THE LATE SHOW also beat its competition in both adults 25-54 viewership (775,000 versus 670,000 for “The Tonight Show” and 651,000 “Kimmel”) and adults 18-49 viewership (546,000 versus 470,000 for both “Tonight” and “Kimmel”).

Peppa Pig's Adventure!, one of the most successful family theater tours in history, today announced the extension of its current tour to an additional 50 North American cities throughout 2020. Kicking off in California on March 18, the tour will make additional stops in New York City, Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday, November 22, 2019.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT has announced the formation of a new head writing team, it was revealed today by executive producers Stephen Colbert, Chris Licht and Tom Purcell. Jay Katsir, who already serves as head writer, is joined by Ariel Dumas, who was promoted to her new role as head writer after working as a writer and digital producer on THE LATE SHOW since 2015. In addition to serving as head writer, Katsir's responsibilities have expanded to include supervising producer. Opus Moreschi, who also serves as a supervising producer, will take on added responsibilities, such as overseeing long lead projects for the show, while remaining an integral part of the writing staff.
