Frederick Shakespeare Festival Announced

Endangered Species (theatre) Project's Frederick Shakespeare Festival is back with two of the bard's most celebrated works: Hamlet and The Merry Wives of Windsor, to be performed at the Hodson Outdoor Amphitheater at Hood College.

Flyaway Productions Concludes THE DECARCERATION TRILOGY This Fall

Flyaway Productions has announced the culmination of its Decarceration Trilogy, an ambitious series of site-specific aerial dance and public art events addressing the devastating effects of mass incarceration in the United States. APPARATUS OF REPAIR premieres at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, September 15 – 25, with tours to Ossining, New York and Santa Monica, California to follow.

Santa Cruz Shakespeare Announces World Premiere Of THE FORMULA

Santa Cruz Shakespeare today announced it will open its summer season with the exciting World Premiere of The Formula by Kathryn Chetkovich, directed by Ellen Maguire in a co-production with Blissfield, during its summer festival July 10-Aug. 28 in the Audrey Stanley Grove in DeLaveaga Park.

Sarah Silverman Joins Bradley Cooper's MAESTRO Film

Sarah Silverman will join the previously announced Cooper, Carey Mulligan, Matt Bomer and Maya Hawke in the cast. Cooper developed the new biopic together with Leonard Bernstein’s family. Maestro is Cooper's follow-up to his directorial debut, A Star is Born.

Steep Canyon Rangers Share New Single 'Sweet Spot'

Recorded at Echo Mountain Recording in Asheville, NC, the track was written by multiple members of the band each taking lead vocals on their verse filled out by the band's trademark harmonies and riveting musicianship. “Sweet Spot” marks the final recording to feature founding member lead vocalist Woody Platt before he departs.

Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre Names Constance Macy New Artistic Director

Constance Macy, a veteran of numerous Indiana stages and theaters across the U.S., has been named the new artistic director of the Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre. The new position is effective immediately for Macy, who has served as interim artistic director since January.
