The newly renovated State Theatre New Jersey and SLP Concerts present Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band as a stop on their U.S. tour celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the release of Trouble Is… with special guest Samantha Fish on Friday, May 20, 2022.

New artists to join the ‘Words + Music’ include Mariah Carey, singer-songwriter Aimee Mann, rock legend Carlos Santana, singer, songwriter, and record producer Beck, The Who's guitarist and principal songwriter Pete Townshend, comedy rock duo, Tenacious D, comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, and rapper and actor yasiin bey.

Brooklyn-based artist Charlotte Rose Benjamin self-released her debut album Dreamtina. Taking influence from the likes of Liz Phair, Sheryl Crow and Courtney Barnett, Benjamin pairs roaring guitars with blunt and honest lyrics about love and heartache and the blurred line in between. Benjamin has also released a music video for her single “Louis.”

Signature Theatre and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced today the cast for the second annual musical theater collaboration, Broadway In The Park (Friday, June 24 at 8PM). The show will star Tony Award-winners Kelli O’Hara and Adrienne Warren and will feature an ensemble of local talent.

It features five stripped back versions of songs from her 2021 debut album, Note To Self, with themes of self-growth and reflection shining even more brightly through these raw, intimate and moving renditions. America’s next big musical sensation has its cast! American Idol favorites Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young will lead the incredible cast of the new musical, Skates.

Originally released in 2003 as an HBO special and as part of the Four Flicks package, this concert has been fully restored and remastered with four previously unreleased songs: “Start Me Up”, “Tumbling Dice”, “Gimme Shelter”, and “Sympathy For The Devil.” The release features three bonus performances from Amsterdam and rehearsal footage.
