Tony and Drama Desk nominee and multi-Audelco Award winner Andre De Shields and internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Sheila Jordan are among the artists who will be honored at the 33rd Annual Bistro Awards Gala on Monday, March 12 at 6:30 pm at Gotham Comedy Club, 208 W. 23rd St. As is the Bistro Award tradition, the evening will feature performances by all of the winners.

The panel included Broadway veteran Polly Adams; Emmy-winner Ellen Parker; actress & playwright Leigh Curran; actress & scholar Heather Rasche; performer & playwright Shellen Lubin; actress & fine artist Leah Friedman; actress, playwright & performance artist Elizabeth Hess; and veteran playwright & producing artists director of the 13th Rep Susan Merson.

This is the fifth Collaboration Award presented by the Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, whose mission is to focus the power of its member organizations together and to use that combined strength to address issues of concern to women in the arts, media, and new media. The Coalition is committed to being the link between its member organizations as they work together to impact the various topics that affect women in our industry through advocacy, networking, and events.
