OMIGOD YOU GUYS! The songs of Legally Blonde: The Musical just hit the Feinstein's/54 Below stage. On Sunday night, Carrie St. Louis led a cast of Broadway and tour favorites in the music of the 7-time Tony-nominated hit musical.

Broadway vet Jose Llana returned for the 20th season of Lincoln Center's American Songbook, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Llana performed in The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and was joined by his Here Lies Love cast members Jaygee Macapugay, Jeigh Madjus, Renee Albulario and Billy Bustamante on February 1st.

The King and I's Jose Llana dazzled in his return to Lincoln Center's American Songbook Concert Series on February 1st, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Mr. Llana's glorious tenor filled The Appel Room, where he was accompanied by his Here Lies Love cast members Jaygee Macapugay, Jeigh Madjus, Renee Albulario and Billy Bustamante.

Carrie St. Louis (Kinky Boots, Wicked, Rock of Ages) and Alex Newell (Once on this Island and Glee) lead a cast of Broadway favorites and newcomers as Elle Woods and Paulette in the first New York Concert of Legally Blonde: the Musical.

Fat Kid Rules The World, (www.FatKidRulesTheMusical.com) a new musical with book and lyrics by Jay Falzone (Cooking With the Calamari Sisters), music and additional lyrics by Matt Gumley (Elf) and additional music by Evan Jay Newman (American Idiot International tour Musical Director), will be performed at invitation-only developmental presentation on Monday, October 29 at 7pm, Tuesday, October 30 at 11am and 3pm and Wednesday, October 31 at 11am at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 W. 46th Street, 3rd Floor). Based on the novel by K.L Going, Fat Kid Rules The World is directed by Marc Eardley (Really Bad Things)and executive produced by Dancing Play Productions.

Award winning singer-songwriter Cheeyang Ng will make his composer debut at Joe's Pub on September 24 (Monday) 9:30pm, opening Musical Theatre Factory's (MTF) fifth season with new Producing Artistic Director, Mei Ann Teo, at the helm.

The Cape Playhouse very proudly presents, South Pacific, the award winning Broadway musical. Starring Becky Gulsvig, Mike McGowan, Tim Rogan, Shea Renne, Michael Thomas Holmes, and Yvonne Strumecki; and directed by Michael Rader. One of Rogers and Hammerstein's most beloved scores, South Pacific runs August 7-18, 2018.

On June 5, 2018, the Fulton Theatre launches The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the theatre's season finale and biggest production of the 2017/2018 season.  The Hunchback of Notre Dame will also be one of the largest shows in the theatre's one hundred sixty six year history. Over ninety cast and choir members will take the stage amidst soaring bell towers, a gypsy village, and the bustling streets of fifteenth century Paris. The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) presented the Women of Note concert series, celebrating female, queer and trans artists who are changing the landscape of musical theatre, on Monday, August 1 at The Duke on 42nd Street. Featuring dynamic sounds and incredible performers, this one-night-only concert event showcased even more artists than last year in two back-to-back performances. ALLEGIANCE plays its final performance on Broadway today, February 14, 2016. Performances began at the Longacre Theatre on October 6, 2015, and the production officially opened on November 8, 2015. At the time of its closing, the musical will have played 37 previews and 113 regular performances, and will have been seen by approximately 120,000 people, a number that eerily echoes the number of Japanese Americans who were directly impacted by the events that inspired the show.
