By:

The Cape Playhouse very proudly presents, South Pacific, the award winning Broadway musical. Starring Becky Gulsvig, Mike McGowan, Tim Rogan, Shea Renne, Michael Thomas Holmes, and Yvonne Strumecki; and directed by Michael Rader. One of Rogers and Hammerstein's most beloved scores, South Pacific runs August 7-18, 2018.

Cable; Shea Renne (Broadway: Allegiance) as Liat; Michael Thomas Holmes (Broadway: Oklahoma!; National Tours: The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers) as Luther Billis; Curt Denham (South Pacific) as Capt. George Brackett; Michael Stiggers (Broadway & National Tour: Beautiful) as Henry; Oren Korenblum (Singin' in the Rain, The Music Man) as Stewpot; Dean Cestari (Mamma Mia, Rocky Horror) as Professor; Cliff Blake (To Kill a Mockingbird, Guys and Dolls) as Cmdr. William Harbison; John Donovan Wilson (South Pacific, Bonnie and Clyde) as Lt. Buzz Adams; and Yvonne Strumecki (National Tours: South Pacific, Man of La Mancha, and Saturday Night Fever) as Bloody Mary.

Cape Playhouse Artistic Director Michael Rader (A Christmas Story; Gypsy, starring Julia Murney; Cirque du Soleil) directs the final musical of the Playhouse season, joined by music director Garrett Taylor, choreographer Joyce Chittick, set designer David Arsenault, costume designer Gail Baldoni, and lighting designer Travis McHale.
