The National Theatre announces today that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from the novel by Mark Haddon, and directed by Marianne Elliott (War Horse, Angels in America, Company) will return to the West End in November 2018 for a limited season. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time begins previews at the Piccadilly Theatre on 29 November, with an opening night on 11 December. (more...)

Frantic Assembly, the award-winning London-based theater company, comes to New York City for two weekend workshops September 22-30th. Frantic Assembly won a Tony Award Best Choreography for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (West End, Broadway, UK & Ireland Tour, US tour). Frantic Assembly's physical theatre and devising workshops in New York City and Los Angeles are sponsored and hosted by Janice Orlandi, Artistic Director of Actors Movement Studio, a 45 year-old New York City conservatory dedicated to training actors in physical technique and movement. One and Two Day Workshops will be taught by Frantic Assembly practitioner Amelia Cardwell and will be held on September 22 and 23rd and September 29th and 30th at Pearl Studios 500 8th Avenue, midtown Manhattan. The National Theatre of Great Britain's Olivier and Tony Award®-winning production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME has opened in Brisbane (playing until 24 June) as part of an Australian tour including Canberra from 27 June, Sydney from 4 July, Adelaide from 31 July and Perth from 8 August. Today Frantic Assembly announces its tour dates of The Unreturning, a brand new co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth. Telling the interwoven stories of three men coming home from war, this new work by Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting winner Anna Jordan will be directed by Frantic Assembly associate director Neil Bettles and marks the 10th anniversary of Frantic Assembly's award-winning Ignition training programme. The Unreturning will have its world premiere at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 20 September 2018 before playing at various venues across the UK until 16 March 2019.
