Theatre Aspen is now accepting submissions through Friday, April 7 for the organization’s fourth annual one-person show festival, Solo Flights, to be held from September 7-14 at Theatre Aspen’s Hurst Theatre.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies, and Alternates with the next edition in his monthly residency of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, January 23rd at The Green Room 42 at 7pm.

Last night, shortly before the show was about to begin, the official opening night of The Collaboration was cancelled due to a case of Covid-19 in the cast detected during pre-show testing. However, the red carpet was still held prior to the announcement. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out the photos here!

AT THIS PERFORMANCE…  returns to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys, Understudies and Alternates from SIX THE MUSICAL; & JULIET;  KIMBERLY AKIMBO; ALMOST FAMOUS; MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG; KINKY BOOTS and BAT OUT OF HELL.  

At This Performance…  will return to The Green Room 42 featuring standbys, understudies, and alternates From Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Almost Famous; Hadestown; Funny Girl; Aladdin; and Paradise Square.  

Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of You Will Get Sick, a new play by Noah Diaz directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Pinkleton, officially opened on November 6, 2022 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Theatre Aspen (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) announced that Avaaz by Michael Shayan and Sally: A Solo Play by Sandra Seaton have received grants from the Solo Flights Project Advancement Fund. Each playwright, whose work was just presented at the 2022 Solo Flights Festival, will receive a $10,000 grant to support their piece's further development.

Theatre Aspen announced that, beginning this season, $10,000 grants will be awarded to two of the Solo Flights selections, to support their further development, underwritten by Rachel and Rick Klausner.

The Green Room 42 has announced their 2022 Pride Week line-up for in-person performances.  As previously announced, The Green Room 42 has launched $5 tickets in celebration of their 5th Anniversary: five $5 tickets will be available for every show through February 14, 2023.
