Nighttime is generally the right time for going to the movies. With the new series After Hours, Museum of the Moving Image expands its schedule with an exciting slate of special screenings and events on weeknights, after the galleries have closed.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announced that Emmy Award nominee Hugh Dancy (Journey's End, 'The Big C') will star with Tony nominee Nina Arianda in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of VENUS IN FUR, the acclaimed new play by David Ives, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie.

The newly announced final season of ABC's 'Desperate Housewives,' will feature the return of Sarah Paulson's character Lydia, Lynette's loser sister,according to Hollywood Reporter. Paulson will return for one episode.

According to Deadline.com, stage veteran Sarah Paulson has joined previosly announced Woody Harrelson, Ed Harris and Julianne Moore in the cast of HBO's GAME PLAN film. She'll play campaign adviser Nicolle Wallace.

A slew of theatre veterans, including Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Aidan Quinn, and Lauren Ambrose, are set to star in new television pilots in the coming months. Basset will star in ABC's 'Identity,' which is about an FBI agent who heads a new Identity Crimes Unit. Sarah Paulson is set for a still untitled NBC comedy about a woman who helps people adjust to career changes. Quinn will star in a BBC detective series called 'Prime Suspect,' while Ambrose is set for FOX's 'Weekends at Bellevue.'

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, has announced the official dates for this year's edition. A broad selection of both local and international one-person shows will be presented between October 20 - November 20, 2011 at the Theatre ROW in the heart of the New York City theatre district on 42nd Street.

NOVEMBER CHRISTMAS, a new 'Hallmark Hall of Fame' presentation starring Emmy Award nominee Sam Elliott ('Buffalo Girls'), Emmy award and Golden Globe award nominee John Corbett ('My Big Fat Greek Wedding,' 'Sex and the City'), Karen Allen ('Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,' 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'), Golden Globe award nominee Sarah Paulson ('Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,' 'Deadwood') and Emily Alyn Lind ('The Secret Life of Bees,' 'All My Children') has started production in Halifax, Canada for broadcast Sunday, Nov. 28 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The production features actors Tracee Chimo, David Duchovny, John Earl Jelks and Amanda Peet, under the direction of Jo Bonney. The Break of Noon is a co-production with the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles (Gil Cates, Producing Director; Randall Arney, Artistic Director; Ken Novice, Managing Director). It was an emotional evening last night as THE MERCHANT OF VENICE celebrated its official opening night on Broadway. On Friday, the show announced that it would push back it's official press opening to accommodate its star, Lily Rabe whose mother, actress Jill Clayburgh sadly passed away at 66 on November 5.
