The ribbit-ing return of Ensemble Theatre's first commissioned family-friendly musical, The Frog Princess, leaps to the stage December 4, 2019-January 4, 2020. This musical spin on the beloved classic Russian fairy tale celebrates the beauty within each of us and receives a contemporary twist by local creative team Joseph McDonough (playwright) and David Kisor (composer and lyricist). This year's production is the first time it will have appeared on the ETC stage in twelve years. With a revitalized script, intricate costumes, and a lavish set, The Frog Princess is holiday fun for the entire family! Directed by D. Lynn Meyers.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati opens its 2019-2020 arts season with the regional premiere of Fun Home a?" a memoir musical based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, with lyrics and book by Lisa Kron and music by Jeanine Tesori. In this highly anticipated musical, Alison Bechdel's coming-of-age memoir depicts the evolution of her young life, her identity, and the secrets that defined her family and her upbringing. Fundraiser Reading Of Will Brumley's THE CLINIC Announced

A team of local artist-activists, captained by director Lormarev Jones, will present a staged reading of Will Brumley's The Clinic on Monday, June 10, as a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio and the Yellowhammer Fund of Alabama in light of the current restrictive abortion laws popping up around the nation. The reading's cast features Lauren Carr, Jen Joplin, and Kelcey Broomfield in the principal roles.
