Colorado Music Festival (CMF) presents its six-week summer concert season from June 25 through August 1 at Chautauqua Auditorium (900 Baseline Rd., Boulder, CO), offering 23 diverse performances of orchestral and chamber music by the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra and guest artists, alongside educational programming.

As one of the first major U.S. music festivals to officially release its headliners for next year, Boston Calling is excited to share that Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline its 2020 festival. Genius and jealousy collide in Folger Theatre's production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Richard Clifford (Mary Stuart and The School for Scandal at Folger Theatre), directs the Tony Award-winning “Best Play” set against the backdrop of the opulent salons and opera houses of 18th-century Vienna, examining the rivalry between court composer Antonio Salieri and the boorish but brilliant Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The production features Helen Hayes Award-winner Ian Merrill Peakes (Folger Theatre's Macbeth and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) as the tortured composer Salieri, who finds himself living in the shadow of his musical rival Mozart (Samuel Adams).

A celebration of the music of Tom Petty, as performed by the award-winning Craig Thatcher Band, encompasses Petty and the Heartbreakers at their finest, including both the hits and some hidden gems. On Friday, November 22nd, Craig Thatcher Band will present The Music of Tom Petty on the historic stage at the State Theatre.

In 2020 the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) celebrates Richard Tognetti's 30th year as Artistic Director. Since his appointment in 1990, Tognetti has endlessly experimented with the musical form, honouring the music of the past while lifting chamber and orchestral music into sublime new realms. His 30-year leadership of the ACO has been characterised by experimentation, ground-breaking collaborations and immersive, dynamic performances that have seen the 17-piece ensemble hailed as 'one of the wonders of the musical world' (The Guardian UK). 

Cue Zero Theatre Company has been selected by the editors of New Hampshire Magazine as 'Best of NH 2019' in the Best 'New' Theatre category. Cue Zero was awarded in honor of their emphasis on working with new talent, new materials, and finding new ways to represent and communicate the craft and joy of theatre. The winners will be celebrated at the Best of NH Party on Thursday, June 27, at Manchester's Northeast Delta Dental Stadium from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Proceeds from the event's ticket sales will benefit CASA of NH.

Celebrating one year since the re-launch as Kiln Theatre, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announces the full cast for Samuel Adamson's Wife. Rubasingham directs Richard Cant (Peter/Ivar at 58/Landlord), Karen Fishwick (Daisy/Clare), Pamela Hardman (Character Actress /Marjorie/Embassy Assistant), Joshua James (Robert/Finn/Ivar at 28), Calam Lynch (Eric/Cas) and Sirine Saba (Suzannah). The production opens on 4 June, with previews from 30 May, and runs until 6 July, coinciding with London's Pride parade.

Boston Calling, celebrating its 10th edition this year on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 - 26, and headlined by Twenty One Pilots (Friday), Tame Impala (Saturday), and Travis Scott (Sunday), reveals more exciting details about the bevy of artists set to take over the festival's Arena stage. Fans will be treated to one-of-a-kind performances from Boston Ballet, one of the most iconic dance companies in the world. The ACO return to North America for the first time in three years to perform eight concerts in New York, California, Boston and throughout the country

Soka Performing Arts Center presents the Alexander String Quartet with pianist Joyce Yang on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 3 PM.  The program will include Samuel Adams' “Quintet with Pillars,” commissioned by Soka University, Arizona Friends Chamber of Music, University California Davis, and San Francisco Performances, as well as works by Schumann and Brahms.
