The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, home of Baltimore's historic Hippodrome Theatre, has announced that tickets for Shucked will go on sale tomorrow, October 11 at 10 a.m. EST for performances Tuesday, April 1 through Sunday, April 6, 2025.

The North American tour of Shucked has found its full cast! As previously announced, the tour will tech and begin performances at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Rhode Island and will play over 30 cities in its first season. Following a two-year hiatus as a result of the global pandemic, The Chase Brock Experience (CBE) - the critically acclaimed New York City-based contemporary dance company from esteemed Broadway and contemporary choreographer, Chase Brock (Be More Chill, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules) - has returned to NYC’s Theatre Row to debut an all-new dance-narrative inspired by Brock’s personal family history. Titled Big Shot, the new work features direction and choreography by Chase Brock and CBE company member Travante S. Baker, and runs through Monday, December 12. Tariq TrotterTariq Trotter returned to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss the new Off-Broadway adaption of Black No More, which he stars in and wrote the music and lyrics for with the Roots. The cast also features Brandon Victor Dixon, Jennifer Damiano, Tamika Lawrence, Ephraim Sykes, Lillias White, and more.

The New Group has announced that the new musical Black No More will begin previews January 18, in advance of an Official Opening Night now set for Tuesday, February 15, a schedule update due to Covid-19.  Previews were previously slated to begin January 11.

The New Group has announced complete casting for the world premiere production of Black No More.  This new musical features Book by John Ridley, Music and Lyrics by Tariq Trotter, Music Supervision, Orchestrations and Vocal Arrangements by Daryl Waters, Choreography by Bill T. Jones and Direction by Scott Elliott.
