Young People's Theatre Launches 2019/20 Season

Young People's Theatre is thrilled to showcase world-renowned artists throughout its 2019.20 Season, including Canada's internationally-acclaimed Kaha:wi Dance Theatre, New York's Arktype, the creative team of Where the Wild Things Are, as well as direction by Sheila McCarthy, Philip Akin, Craig Francis and Rick Miller. Year-long celebrations will mark the 50th Anniversary of YPT's Drama School, whose alumni include Drake, Kiefer Sutherland and Giacomo Gianniotti.

Sunday 24th November 2019 and it's Christmas season at The Lowry opening on Tuesday 10 December 2019 and running through until Sunday 5 January 2020. Idiot String (Founding Producers Joan Howard and Rebecca Longworth) is proud to announce the Samuel Peaches Peripatetic Players' 2019 Bay Area Parks tour. This summer's show, created and performed by the five-member travelling troupe, is a parody of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring entitled A Lord Of A Ring In A Suitcase, and will play six performances in public parks on Saturdays and Sundays, August 17 - 25, 2019.
