Young People's Theatre is thrilled to showcase world-renowned artists throughout its 2019.20 Season, including Canada's internationally-acclaimed Kaha:wi Dance Theatre, New York's Arktype, the creative team of Where the Wild Things Are, as well as direction by Sheila McCarthy, Philip Akin, Craig Francis and Rick Miller. Year-long celebrations will mark the 50th Anniversary of YPT's Drama School, whose alumni include Drake, Kiefer Sutherland and Giacomo Gianniotti.

The record-setting Broadway sensation, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical today confirms casting for its Cardiff run at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff from Wednesday 20th a?' Sunday 24th November 2019 and it's Christmas season at The Lowry opening on Tuesday 10 December 2019 and running through until Sunday 5 January 2020. Comedy legend Griff Rhys Jones will star as Old Max, alongside X-Factor winner Matt Terry as Young Max and Edward Baker-Duly as the world-famous mischief maker, The Grinch.

LITTLE WARS. We all fight them. They could be wars of words, wars over ideologies, or wars about favorite sports teams. A cast and crew of seventeen students from University of Nebraska Omaha put their heads together and through devised theatre developed a production so unique, so special, that it held me mesmerized for the entire 55 minutes.

2019-20 Season marks Creative Cauldron's eleventh season of programming at ArtSpace Falls Church.  The diverse season offerings include live theater, concerts and cabarets. The season kicks off in October with the regional premiere of Disenchanted, a hilarious musical that takes a second look at the real world fates of fairytale princesses.  Madeline's Christmas returns once more to ring in the holiday season and Crowns, the inspirational gospel musical celebrating the resilient, hat-wearing sisters of the south, takes the stage in February.

Idiot String (Founding Producers Joan Howard and Rebecca Longworth) is proud to announce the Samuel Peaches Peripatetic Players' 2019 Bay Area Parks tour. This summer's show, created and performed by the five-member travelling troupe, is a parody of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring entitled A Lord Of A Ring In A Suitcase, and will play six performances in public parks on Saturdays and Sundays, August 17 - 25, 2019. ZACH Theatre announces the cast for Jungalbook, the 2019-20 season opener for ZACH's Moody Foundation Family Series. A retelling of Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories, Jungalbook is adapted by Edward Mast and plays The Kleberg at ZACH, September 7-December 14, 2019, under the direction of Associate Artistic Director Nat Miller with original music by Allen Robertson.

Socially conscious singersongwriter Ola Onabulé has built an enviable career as an international touring performer and has now turned his attention to the North American market with a newly recorded collection of original songs. Onabulé's meticulous attention to detail in his arrangements and production as well as the support from SennheiserNeumann have contributed to the manifestation of an impressive recording.

Alternative cabaret star Salty Brine will perform the award-winning show Welcome to the Jungle one night only at the Ancram Opera House on July 6th at 8:30pm. Tickets are $30 and available at ancramoperahouse.org and TodayTix.com. The show, written and performed by Salty, is directed by Max Rueben with musical arrangements by Nate Weida.

Verb Ballets returns to Cain Park on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 8:00pm, with a FREE performance of Mowgli's Jungle Adventures! The new full-length ballet choreographed by Associate Artistic Director, Richard Dickinson, is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic tale of an Indian boy abandoned by his parents and raised by a pack of wolves.    

Verb Ballets will delight audiences this summer with performances throughout Northeast Ohio with entertaining programming and brilliant dancing. The featured works will range from story ballets to instrumental rock ballets.

Ancram Opera House (AOH), the award-winning theatre in southern Columbia County, announced its 2019 summer season which opens June 28 with the world premiere of Staged Dives: An Evening with Stew & Heidi by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, creators of the Tony, Drama Desk and Obie award-winning musical Passing Strange.
