For the next several Tuesdays, Composer/Producer Neil Berg and collaborator DJ Salisbury will be releasing free downloads from the  Original Concept Cast Recording of THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING, featuring Brian D'arcy James and Marc Kudisch performing 'UP THERE.'

Veteran and award-winning Chicago, St. Louis and Los Angeles stage actor and play director Darryl Maximilian Robinson (The Founder of The Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago and The ESC Los Angeles Archival Project ) presents a 'Street Theatre' rendition of 'The Seven Ages of Man' Speech as the character of Lord Jaques from William Shakespeare's 'As You Like It' in the historic Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. 

This Spring Oldham Coliseum presents a musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's famous story The Jungle Book, a perfect treat for the whole family to enjoy.

Writer/performer Ashley Griffin (Trial, Twilight: The Musical!) signs three play publishing deal with By/For Publishing for representation of her shows: The Snow Queen (adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen story,) A Little Princess (adapted from the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett,) and The Jungle Book (adapted from the novel by Rudyard Kipling.)   

Only those familiar with the fanciful and imaginary land of the musical 'Just So' will know that the elephant got its enormous trunk after a crocodile bit the lumbering creature and stretched its nose to enormous proportions.

Raleigh Little Theatre will present Monica Flory's adaptation of 'The Jungle Book,' based on the beloved book by Rudyard Kipling. 'The Jungle Book' is the last show in RLT's 2019-20 Family Series and runs from March 20 - April 5 in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre. The production will include puppets and shadow play and is directed by Judy M. Dove.

It's time to escape Toronto's urban jungle for a real one, and this journey is one for the entire family to take together. Rudyard Kipling's classic works are adapted and directed by Craig Francis and Rick Miller in this modern, multimedia take on a beloved story of the connection between humanity and nature. Produced by Kidoons, WYRD Productions and The 20K Collective and presented by Young People's Theatre, JUNGLE BOOK takes the story of Mowgli and his animal friends and refreshes it for kids today; in this version, Mowgli (Levin Valayil) is a 25-year old architect living in the urban jungle of New York City and struggling to reconcile the harsh nature of urban architecture with his roots in nature. His crisis halts when his sister sends him the 'Jungle Book' that he used to document his childhood adventures with the wolves who raised him, Baloo the bear (Matt Lacas), Bagheera the panther (Mina James), and more.

This February half term the cast of The Jungle Book are coming to a theatre near you.

YPT will introduce young audiences to a wild, multi-media adaptation of Jungle Book, from creators Craig Francis and Rick Miller (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea), based on Rudyard Kipling's beloved classic. Inventive and timely, Jungle Book will transport you from the urban jungle to Mowgli's childhood in the forests of India for this extended engagement on YPT's Mainstage from February 13 to March 21.

Symphony Space presents 'Jungle Book' Saturday, January 11th at 11 am and 2 pm. A highlight of the Just Kidding season, this modern multimedia interpretation of Kipling's classic stories features music and shadow puppetry combined with compelling storytelling.

From the creators of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea comes a theatrical adaptation of the works of Rudyard Kipling. The classic Mowgli stories have been re-imagined through modern eyes, with immersive multimedia, shadow-play, and original music, Jungle Book hits the Main Hall stage at Music Hall, Sunday, January 12th at  6PM

Verb Ballets presents a free performance of Mowgli's Jungle Adventures on Friday, January 26, 2020 at 2pm. The full-length ballet is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic tale of an Indian boy abandoned by his parents and raised by a pack of wolves. Choreographed by Associate Artistic Director, Richard Dickinson, MFA the show transports audiences through a mystical jungle in this iconic coming-of-age story.

Today, The Watermill Theatre announces the appointment of four new Associate Directors as part of its Associate Artist Programme. The four emerging directors have been selected to work with the producing theatre to develop their skills and build experience as they embark on the next phase of their careers. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Paul Hart, each will take on roles ranging from Assistant Directorships to fully directing productions, all with the aim of nurturing their talents and extending their knowledge. These new appointments are a part of The Watermill's continued commitment to supporting emerging theatre-makers and nurturing the talent of the future.

Oldham Coliseum Theatre's Acting Artistic Director Chris Lawson announces the theatre's Spring-Summer 2020 season with a programme featuring Northern voices, new writing, dark comedy, exciting collaborations and a modern adaptation of a classic family favourite.

For its fall Learning Theater Production, Creative Cauldron will present The Jungle Book, adapted from Rudyard Kipling's classic by Laura Connors Hull and Ellen Selby and featuring ten original songs by Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith.

Each season An die Musik (oboe, string trio, and piano), co-founded in 1976 by pianist Constance Emmerich, returns to an enthusiastic and overflowing crowd at Merkin Hall to perform with imagination, brilliance, and warmth. This year's only New York concert takes place on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2019, 4 pm at Merkin Concert Hall, Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York, NY. The artists performing this fall with An die Musik will be Mark Peskanov, violin; Nicholas Mann, viola; Robert Ingliss, oboe; Thomas Demenga, cello; and Constance Emmerich, piano.
