Akram Khan's JUNGLE BOOK Reimagined To Premiere At Curve In April 2022

Akram Khan Company and Leicester's Curve Theatre are pleased to announce that AKRAM KHAN'S JUNGLE BOOK REIMAGINED, the choreographer's brand-new work – a deeply personal interpretation based on the original story by Rudyard Kipling with an original score, will have its world premiere at Curve from 2 – 9 April 2022.

Cory Smythe 'Accelerate Every Voice' Out This Friday

Pianist and composer Cory Smythe evokes cyborg choirs and coastal floods on Accelerate Every Voice, his second release for Pyroclastic Records and the follow-up to 2018 album Circulate Susanna. Bringing together five vocalists from the a cappella, new and improvised music scenes, AEV cradles Smythe's piano in an uncanny valley of voices before submerging it in an undersea expanse.

Writer/performer Ashley Griffin (Trial, Twilight: The Musical!) signs three play publishing deal with By/For Publishing for representation of her shows: The Snow Queen (adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen story,) A Little Princess (adapted from the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett,) and The Jungle Book (adapted from the novel by Rudyard Kipling.)
