Building on the phenomenal decade-long success of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, Bill Kenwright's Classic Thriller Theatre Company (Rehearsal For Murder, Judgement in Stone, The Case of the Frightened Lady and The Lady Vanishes), returns with their latest chilling whodunit, the creepy comedy thriller The Cat and the Canary.

Space, the final frontier, has finally been explored by Ryan Landry and the Gold Dust Orphans, and their little dog, too. Following the trail blazed by her predecessor, the late, beloved Rhoda the dog, Dolly the Mustache Pup has a featured spot in CHRISTMAS ON URANUS as one of the flying dogs of Pluto. She joins a cast of fifteen humans, many of them veteran Orphans, as they blast off on their mission to rescue Santa Claus from alien kidnappers and save Christmas. It is up to the Robinson Family from a?oeLost In Spacea?? to track down Saint Nick and return him to Earth in time to make his rounds and bring happiness to children across the world.

The Players announces its next Pipe Night, honoring Tony Award-nominated composer and writer Joe Iconis (Be More Chill). A favorite Players tradition that has celebrated significant cultural figures for over a century, the Pipe Night for Mr. Iconis will be held on Monday, September 9th starting at 6:30 pm at The Players, located at 16 Gramercy Park South. 

Variety Quebec is announcing today that Pierre Bruneau, Yvon Deschamps and Judi Richards will be honoured during an international meeting of the Variety - The Children' Charity International which will take place May 10 at the Chateau Frontenac. This important assembly, which includes directors general, board chairs of all sectors and other key members of the organization, will also be an occasion to take stock and establish the organization's priorities for the future.

Kiki Samko takes the director's reins and wrangles all of the players into a cohesive ensemble, with several of the actors taking on two (and, in one case, three) roles. Qya Marie has moved up the ranks of the Orphans to become a dynamic leading player. Tim Lawton wears multiple hats as music director, Trump, and Bald Eagle, and his hilarious and eerily spot-on rendition of the orange one is among the finest performances I've seen him give. Ryan Landry's writing also lands a flurry of blows, expressing more transparent social and political commentary than usual. If you're in the mood for some super (hero) entertainment, make it THE EBONIC WOMAN.

Steve Ross, the legendary cabaret artist and champion of the Great American Songbook, will be honored with a Pipe Night at The Players on Wednesday, April 17.
