A classic of musical theatre, with an updated script and story, will take the stage of the Sauk Theatre in Jonesville for eight performances August 11-14 and 18-21.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the complete cast for the new Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning musical, 1776, directed by Jeffrey L. Page and Diane Paulus.

The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre, will present the Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of 'The Secret Garden' for eight performances in June. Six members of the large cast are making their Sauk debut.

The Broadway-bound production of 1776 began performances last week at American Repertory Theater at Harvard University and we've got the first photos of the cast and the new production.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that the cast has been assembled for Diane Paulus' Broadway-Bound 1776, which just began a Zoom workshop. Exact production dates have not been announced, though the A.R.T. has confirmed that the musical will play as a part of its 2020/21 Season, and Roundabout will bring it to the American Airlines Theatre in Spring 2021.

Wichita Scottish Rite Signature Theatre recreates the 'room where it all happens' in their current and limited engagement production of 1776 now running until July 3rd at Wichita Center for the Performing Arts.

The Muny announced today its complete cast, design and production team for 1776, the third show of its second century, June 27 - July 3. 

The Kent Keyboard Series continues its 2018-2019 season with pianist Donna Lee, Steinway Artist, and professor and coordinator of piano at Kent State University, on Sun., Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. in Ludwig Recital Hall. She will be joined by clarinetist Daniel Gilbert, a faculty member at the prestigious University of Michigan, and violinist Miho Hashizume, a member of the renowned Cleveland Orchestra and holder of the Theodore Rautenberg Endowed Chair. Kent State's Ludwig Recital Hall is at 1325 Theatre Drive in the Center for the Performing Arts on the Kent Campus. Ample free and handicap accessible parking is available.
