Manhattan Theatre Club will host a special edition of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation's 'One-on-One Conversation Series' with Tony Award winning directors Doug Hughes (Defiance, Doubt) and Daniel Sullivan (Rabbit Hole, Proof) with moderator Mandy Greenfield, MTC Director of Artistic Operations, on Monday, March 13 at 6 PM at New York City Center- Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Today (Monday, January 23), The National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, begins rehearsals in New York, prior to a first performance in Boston on March 7 at the Colonial Theatre. Other cities confirmed for the tour include Chicago, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Atlanta, with more dates to follow.

Robin de Levita, Dragone and The Firm have announced the creative team for CARMEN: The Musical, based on the classic 1845 novel by Prosper Mérimée, directed by Franco Dragone. With music by John Ewbank, and a book by Sarah Miles, a developmental staging will be work-shopped later this year, with a Broadway production targeted for the 2006/07 season.
