Freeform announces Josh Thomas' return to television with 'Everything's Gonna Be Okay,' premiering THURSDAY, JAN. 16. Critically acclaimed for his series 'Please Like Me,' Thomas once again takes on a multifaceted role as creator, writer, executive producer and star of the 30-minute comedy, which introduces Nicholas (Josh Thomas), a neurotic twenty-something-year-old visiting his dad and teenage half-sisters, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. When Nicholas' trip is extended due to his father's untimely death, the siblings are left to cope with not only a devastating loss, but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to rise to the occasion, move in, and hold it all together. On Sunday June 2, Kritzerland celebrated its 99th performance with a special brunch matinee at Feinstein's Upstairs at Vitello's, entitled June Is Brunching Out All Over. It was supposed to be a tribute to Harry Warren, but as host Bruce Kimmel explained, it's often better to throw in a few other songs from different composers...so the show was a mix...and delightful with musical director Richard Allen at the keys and a bevy of exceedingly talented singers including special guest Bill Hayes...Kim Huber, Kelley Dorney, Jenna Lea Rosen, Robert Yacko, Damon Kirsche and Bruce Kimmel himself perfoming a lovely solo number 'Hushabye Mountain' by the Sherman Brothers for the film 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'.

Comedy Central today released the official trailer for its next great sketch series, Alternatino with Arturo Castro, premiering on Tuesday, June 18 at 10:30pm ET/PT. This summer, creator, writer and star Arturo Castro (Broad City, Narcos) tackles more than 45 characters in sketches over ten episodes that showcase his perspective on relationships, everyday awkward moments and much more. Each episode in addition to the sketches has a scripted narrative thread that features a heightened version of Arturo as he goes about daily life as a Latin millennial.

The Russell Howard Hour has been commissioned for a further series three and four whist the second series is currently on air until Thursday 28th February on Sky One. The first series of the topical entertainment show, which sees Russell Howard offer his unique and acclaimed perspective on news and current affairs, was the most successful new non-scripted entertainment series to launch on the channel since 2010 and had over 100 million views across social media. The third, fourteen-part series (14 x 60') will go into production in autumn 2019.

 2 DOPE QUEENS, featuring the hit comedy duo of Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson, returns to HBO next month for a second series of four themed hour-long specials adapted from the hit podcast of the same name. Taped again in front of a live audience at Kings Theatre Brooklyn anddirected by Sandra Restrepo, the first special debuts FRIDAY, FEB. 8 (11:00 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, followed by three more shows subsequent Fridays at the same time.
