On Tuesday, July 12 at 7pm, bestselling author Tom Perrotta visits The Music Hall's Lounge with his new novel, TRACY FLICK CAN'T WIN. The iconic protagonist of Tom Perrotta's Election—played by Reese Witherspoon in the movie adaptation—Tracy Flick is back and, once again, is determined to take high school politics by storm.

The Music Hall Lounge's latest show announcements for the newly renovated venue features comedy, literary conversations, and the return of several regional favorite musicians.

Today, TIME has announced the 2022 TIME100, an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Among those on this year's list are a number of stars from the world of theatre.

The Music Hall announced another round of shows coming to their newly renovated venue, The Music Hall Lounge. Continuing the grand opening celebration weekend, stand up comedian and actor Michael Ian Black will perform two shows; other opening weekend shows include a sold out concert by Darlingside and two sets with comedian Pat McGann. The latest Lounge schedule runs through October, with more rounds of announcements scheduled throughout May and into June.

Rising London-based Kings Elliot is hitting the road this summer with Imagine Dragons, supporting the band on a 20-city U.S. arena tour alongside Macklemore. Pasadena Playhouse begins performances of the West Coast premiere of Ann – written by and starring Holland Taylor and directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein March 22, with performances continuing through April 24. 

Legendary 11-time Grammy Award-winning, two-time Academy Award nominated singer-songwriter Dolly Parton (9 to 5) is set to star in Hello Sunshine’s film adaptation of Run, Rose, Run, the recently released novel written by Parton and James Patterson. Parton and Patterson will produce the feature alongside Reese Witherspoon and Hello Sunshine.
