WITCHES AND ALIENS Take the Duplex Stage in New Double Bill of Musical Comedy

A new theatrical double bill is set to bring laughter, aliens, witches, and one very complicated pair of shoes to The Duplex Cabaret Theatre this June. Double Bill: Witches and Aliens, presented by Judith Manocherian LLC and Space Weather Girl in association with Theatre Now New York, will feature three performances only: June 12, 13, and 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Fran Drescher Joins Broadway Sings For Pride's Revolution Annual Charity Concert On June 18th

Actress Fran Drescher is the latest performer to join the lineup of BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE's 8th Annual Charity Concert 'Revolution' on Monday, June 18th at The Cutting Room in New York City. The Nanny star will be joined by Broadway/TV star Frankie J. Grande, Matt Doyle (Broadway's Spring Awakening, War Horse, The Book of Mormon), Project Runway's Sam Donovan, a special 50th reunion performance from the cast of Hair, and performances from cast members from Hamilton, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys, Frozen, Wicked and more.  This star-studded event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, and surprises! The proceeds will benefit The Tyler Clementi Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to end on-line and off-line bullying.

On Monday, June 18, 2018, the theater world and New York communities will come together for Broadway Sings for Pride's 8th annual charity concert entitled "Revolution"!  Hair co-creator James Rado (Grammy-Award Winner) and Hair original choreographer Julie Arenal (Broadway/West End) will join over 35 tribe members to celebrate Pride with a special Hair reunion musical performance during the event.

The Riant Theatre (Van Dirk Fisher, Artistic Director) -- the Audelco Award-winning nonprofit providing a nurturing developmental environment for playwrights and theatre creators of diverse cultural backgrounds -- proudly announces THE STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL 2017 - THE SERIES.  The reality competition series' first eight episodes, featuring the 31 short plays that were staged during the festival's 30th Season (presented Off-Broadway at the Theatre at St. Clement's July 13th - July 30th, 2017) are now available for viewing online. A celebration of cultural diversity, THE STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL will be presented at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues, NYC) beginning today, July 13th. The festival will continue through Sunday, July 30th, 2017.
