Lips, the ultimate in drag dining, will once again present 'A Night of Stars,' at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 as the official kick-off fundraiser for the annual SMART Ride (Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride 2020), a 165 Mile bicycle ride from Miami to Key West planned for this November. This highly anticipated event, hosted by Lips' show hostess Nicolette with a special appearance by Michael Dean as Cher, will feature celebrity guest servers: Austin Bergman, Rene Cantu, Jeff Honour, Robert Moelius and Carol Moran.

The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, along with Resident Company support from Philadelphia Chamber Music Society and The Philadelphia Orchestra, celebrates Women's History Month in March 2020 with an array of programming honoring a breadth of female artistry and expression. Additionally, in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, Philadelphia and Drexel University's Vision 2020's 'Women 100' National Women's Equality Initiative will host a series of events, including the Seat at the Table FREE and interactive exhibition, opening in March and running through September in the Kimmel Center's Commonwealth Plaza.

Deau Eyes, aka Richmond, VA-based singer/songwriter Ali Thibodeau, has signed with Egghunt Records for her forthcoming debut LP, Let It Leave. Bay Area Cabaret presents Tony, Grammy and Drama Desk nominee Max von Essen making his solo West Coast debut with award-winning composer, arranger, vocalist and jazz pianist Billy Stritch performing a?oeCall Me Old Fashioned: The American Standarda?? on Sunday, March 8 at 5:00 pm in the Venetian Room of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The duo recently completed a sold-out run at Birdland Jazz Club in New York and will also perform this standards-based show as part of Palm Springs' highly anticipated Cabaret 88 series.

The GRAMMY AWARDS Premiere Ceremony took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Preceding the 62nd Annual GRAMMY AWARDS telecast, the Premiere Ceremony was hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Imogen Heap and featured a number of performances by current GRAMMY nominees. Theatre Aspen (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) announced today that the organization's annual Gala, this year with a special 'Rockstar' theme, will be held at the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado, on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Award-winning playwright/filmmaker Julien Nitzberg today announced that choreographers Cris Judd and Bryan Anthony have joined the company of his new musical FOR THE LOVE OF A GLOVE, AN UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL FABLE ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON AS TOLD BY HIS GLOVE. Cris Judd danced with Michael Jackson for many years, most notably at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards, on The Dangerous Tour and HIStory Tour, where he became one of Michael's main dancers. Bryan Anthony danced as an 11-year-old with Michael Jackson, Alfonso Ribeiro and the other Jackson brothers in an infamous 1984 Pepsi commercial.

Legendary music impresario and manager Jim Halsey is celebrating more than 70 years in the entertainment industry. A pioneer of COUNTRY MUSIC innovation and expansion, the 89 year old Independence, Kansas native was honored in his hometown with the 2,000 seat auditorium inside Memorial Hall being renamed to the Jim Halsey Auditorium. Now 89, Halsey has booked hundreds of acts and performances at the venue since 1949.
