Free SWINGIN' ON A STAR Celebration of '40s Music Set for Lincoln Center Library Today, 6/23

Today - Saturday, June 23rd, 2012, at 2:30 p.m at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (Lincoln Center), The Philhallmonic Society present 'Swingin' On A Star'--a musical celebration of the 1940s at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center (entrance on 65th and Amsterdam Avenue). The concert is free with general seating.

Erin Dilly to Cover for Kelli O'Hara in NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, 7/15-29

The producers of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that Tony nominee Erin Dilly will take on the role of Billie Bendix from Sunday, July 15th to Sunday, July 29th only while four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara brings FAR FROM HEAVEN to Williamstown Theatre Festival prior to a 2013 Playwrights Horizons run. O'Hara returns to the show full time on Tuesday, July 31st.

Nashville Symphony Presents Classical Music Festival, Now thru 6/30

Young People's Chorus of NYC Presents SPRING CELEBRATION: A FAMILY CONCERT Tonight, 6/9

For the first time the Young People's Chorus of New York City, under its Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez, is scheduling two performances of its perennially sold-out, annual 'Spring Celebration: A Family Concert,' which takes place this year tonight, June 9 at the 92nd Street Y. The concerts will be presented at 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon and again at 7 p.m. in the evening.

NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT Cast Album in the Works!

The Tony-nominated Best Musical NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT will get an Original Broadway Cast Recording on the Shout! Factory label to be distributed by Sony. The album will be recorded at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Long Island City, NY on May 20th and 21st. The release date will be announced soon. The album will be produced by six-time Grammy® nominee Robert Sher.
