The 2026 Tony Awards will air Sunday, June 7 at 8pm.
P!nk is ready to Raise the Roof at Radio City Music Hall! The music superstar will host Broadway's biggest night, the 79th Annual Tony Awards, in just a matter of days.
"I think theater is everything. For all the kids that aren't jocks or they're any kind of other... theater is the first and sometimes only safe room to be yourself and to be goofy and to be weird and to be different and to be collaborative about it," she told BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge. "My weird wants to collaborate with your weird and what can we make? And it's wonderful!"
Her opening number is written by Tony winners Benj Pasek, Justin Paul and Marc Shaiman. "The opening is going to be seven minutes possibly. My one rule was that I have to make fun of myself immediately, which we're doing, and then it ends up with probably 170 people on stage."
What is she most looking forward to on Sunday night? "I look forward to watching it through my kids' eyes and being there to just celebrate everybody and to just take it all in. It's so much. It's extravaganza. It's gonna be incredible."
