Upstart Crows of Santa Fe present Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice.

Page 73 (Michael Walkup, Artistic Director; Amanda Feldman, Managing Director; Rebecca Yaggy, Director of Development; Liz Jones and Asher Richelli, Founding Directors) have announced complete casting for the world premiere of STEW, written by Zora Howard (Premature, IFC Films) and directed by Colette Robert (Behind the Sheet). Performances of STEW begin on Monday, January 20 at the Walkerspace Theatre for a limited run through Saturday, February 22. Opening night is set for Saturday, February 1.

Families can continue their favorite holiday tradition of viewing the Rodgers & Hammerstein cinematic treasure, “The Sound of Music,” this year by tuning in to ABC on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. ET/6:00 P.M. Central. Celebrate the Oscar®-winning classic by singing along to popular favorites such as “Edelweiss,” ”My Favorite Things,” “Climb Every Mountain,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going On Seventeen,” “The Lonely Goatherd” and of course, “The Sound of Music.”

Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten!, Thoroughly Modern Millie) will join the cast of Mean Girls as 'Mrs. Heron / Ms. Norbury / Mrs. George' beginning tonight, Wednesday, December 11. Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard played her final performance in the roles on Sunday, December 8.

Mallory Portnoy (who plays Gertie Cummings in Daniel Fish's Tony Award © winning revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! at Circle in the Square) and actor-playwright Matthew-Lee Erlbach (Steppenwolf's The Doppelgänger, starring Rainn Wilson and directed by Tina Landau), have created Human Interest, a character-based dry comedy moc doc series inspired by real people, which lovingly turns the camera on the eccentric outliers of New York City and explores, loneliness, community, and our relationship to technology.  Written and directed by Erlbach, the short-form series introduces us to everyone from competitive whistlers and professional cuddlers to neo-luddites and sex robot romantics. The series, which recently won Best Digital ShortSeries at Series Fest, includes actors Michael Cyril Creighton (The Amateurs, High Maintenance, Spotlight), Max Jenkins (The Mysteries of Laura, High Maintenance, Dead to Me), Ryan Spahn (Gloria, Moscow Moscow Moscow…, He's Way More Famous Than You) and Deb Lapidus.
