The comedy Noises Off is the next Jefferson Performing Arts Society production onstage at Jefferson Performing Arts Center, featuring a cast of nine local performers directed by Harold Heno. Called “the funniest farce ever written”, it will run for five performances only from April 12 through 21 as part of JPAS's 46th season.

Libraries are amazing because they hold so much content and knowledge, but they're also great public spaces that you can just visit for free. Priscilla the Party is based on The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a movie from the 90s that was adapted into a musical and has since travelled the world. But, instead of a classic musical, guests are invited into the Cockatoo Club, standing in front of the stage that is able to be taken apart and moved around the floor.

Twelfth Night is possibly Shakespeare's most brilliant comedy, packed with ribald wordplay, mistaken identities, and revenge, tied up in a tangled web of unrequited love. The slick, energetic production at the Gamm Theatre gets every bit of it. This is a dazzling show, stuffed with talent in every role, and staged with panache. It is Shakespeare made accessible, and it is deliciously funny. Not to be missed.
