Goodspeed Musicals has released its latest episode of the Greatspeed series, centered around 1776. This episode features two of the stars of Goodspeed's 2007 production of 1776, Ronn Carroll (Benjamin Franklin) and Peter A. Carey (John Adams), who will relive their favorite memories and share some clips from the show. Originally aired on April 28, 2020.

Tony Award nominee Walter Willison and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba will star in Two By Two: The 50th Anniversary Virtual Concert to benefit The Actors Fund. The virtual holiday event will premiere at 2:00 PM on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25 through Monday, December 28.

Artistic Director Michael Ritchie announced Center Theatre Group’s 54th season at the Ahmanson Theatre will begin in August 24, 2021, four months later than it was formerly scheduled. The season features the previously announced “The Lehman Trilogy,” “The Prom,” “Hadestown” and “Dear Evan Hansen” plus “1776” which was previously announced for the 2019 – 2020 season.

The show features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Martin Charnin, a book by Peter Stone. The musical is based on the play The Flowering Peach by Clifford Odets. The Broadway production ran for 351 performances.

On September 29th at 2:00pm, the award-winning theatre company, Food For Thought Productions will present the third show in its current season with a common thread – comedy (something we can all use a bit of in our present world)!

Today we rewind to 2014, when Manhattan Concert Productions brought back Titanic. Titanic made its Broadway debut in 1997 to critical acclaim, winning five Tony Awards including the award for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone.

Wichita Theatre is presenting Titanic the Musical, August 13-16. Shows are held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm only, and Sunday at 2:30pm.

Exact production dates have not been announced, though the A.R.T. has confirmed that the musical will play as a part of its 2020/21 Season, and Roundabout will bring it to the American Airlines Theatre in Spring 2021.

Perhaps one of Kander & Ebb's lesser-known works, musical comedy Curtains opened to mixed reviews on Broadway back in 2007, where it starred David Hyde Pierce as Lieutenant Cioffi. The first UK tour has been touring the country since last year before running in the West End and we have been lucky enough to have this stage version streamed for our viewing pleasure during 'lockdown'.

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced its 26th season that includes the 2020 - 2021 Mainstage, Porchlight Revisits and New Faces Sing Broadway series. a?oe1776a?? is now on sale at the Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and featuring a book by Peter Stone with music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards, a?oe1776a?? will begin a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ahmanson from July 21 through August 23, 2020.

Barn Players production of TITANIC (The Musical) opened this past weekend at the Arts Asylum to full and appreciative audiences. TITANIC is a huge (pardon the play on words) Community Theater undertaking in all ways you might imagine it could be. TITANIC (The Musical) was written by Maury Yeston and Peter Stone. It won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The BARN PLAYERS production directed by Kipp Simmons is similarly complex but in different ways.
