The newly relaunched Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) has announced a landmark collaboration with the renowned Edinburgh Festival Fringe which will open up the Film Festival programme in new venues across the city including non-traditional cinema spaces at Summerhall and the heart of the Fringe footprint.

The National Theatre has announced the full cast for The House of Bernarda Alba, in a co-production with Playful Productions. 

Due to demand, the first release of tickets for Streetcar sold out in record time, however the current run has been extended by one week and further tickets will be released for sale from 11am on Monday 13 March.

Following unprecedented demand, tickets for all existing performances of Streetcar have now sold out for the run at the Phoenix Theatre from 20 March to 29 April 2023.

After a much-delayed press night when Patsy Ferran stepped in as Blanche DuBois with a few days' notice to replace Lydia Wilson, Rebecca Frecknall's new version of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire has finally opened at London's Almeida Theatre.

With this alignment, Craig Erwich, senior vice president of Scripted Originals for Hulu, will report to Dana Walden, chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. Erwich will continue to lead scripted originals planning, development and commissioning for Hulu's original comedies and dramas, and his team will remain housed within the Santa Monica Hulu headquarters.

The cast and filmmakers of Disney's live-action adaptation "Aladdin," completed their Magic Carpet World Tour in Los Angeles yesterday with the film's star-studded world premiere at the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Blvd. Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, director Guy Ritchie and composer Alan Menken were joined by other cast and filmmakers and VIP guests including Helen Mirren and Darren Criss.
