Due to high demand and audiences' continued desire to rock out, ROCK OF AGES, is extending its stay in Toronto once again. A new block of tickets is now on sale through December 19. ROCK OF AGES had its Canadian Premiere on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, almost blowing the roof off the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre.

BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed that completing the cast of ELF the musical will be Sebastian Arcelus as Buddy and Amy Spanger as Jovie.

Although there's been no official announcement yet, while talking to the Rockland Journal News about the upcoming ELF muscial, Thomas Meehan tells the paper that 'In casting Sebastian Arcelus ('Good Vibrations') as Buddy, Meehan says director Casey Nicholaw didn't want someone who would deliver a Ferrell impersonation. 'We wanted someone who would make it their own,' he says.'

DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are pleased to announce that David F. M. Vaughn has recently joined the National Tour of SHREK THE MUSICAL in the role of the vertically challenged villain Lord Farquaad. He is joined by Justin W. Shuffler, who will play the Big Bad Wolf.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced Bernadette Peters will star as Sally Durant Plummer in the Kennedy Center production of Follies in the Eisenhower Theater May 7 to June 5, 2011.

Joey Taranto will take over the role of 'Drew' at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Additional cast changes include Mitchell Jarvis playing his final performance as 'Lonny' on Sunday, September 5 and taking over the role of 'Stacee Jaxx' from James Carpinello, who will play his final performance on a date to be determined. Jay Klaitz, recently of Lend Me a Tenor, to begin performances as 'Lonny' on Monday, September 6. Last night, August 5, the ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast and members of the newly announced touring cast partied together at BB Kings in Times Square to live 80's tunes by Lipstick & Leather, in addition to additional rock band cover singers.
