The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson begins previews tonight, September 19, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for its 17-week engagement.  Meet the cast bringing this play back to Broadway!

Producers Brian Anthony Moreland, Sonia Friedman and Tom Kirdahy announced additional cast for the revival of August Wilson’s seminal, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama The Piano Lesson, the first Broadway revival in more than 30 years since the play’s Main Stem premiere in 1990.

The Springer's 2022-23 Season Announcement was held on March 10 in Emily Woodruf Hall at the Springer Opera House. The Springer Opera House’s holiday musical revue, Winter Wonderettes, will not open this Thursday, as scheduled, due to the spike in COVID-19 transmission rates and daily cases. However, the theatre will offer a live streaming option for theatre audiences who have purchased tickets. 

The Springer Opera House will open its 2020-21 Season on October 15th with a retooled schedule and a spacious outdoor venue for EVIL DEAD: The Musical.

As Coronavirus cases surge in the Chattahoochee Valley, the Springer Opera House has made the decision not to open its season in September, as initially announced. While no shows are canceled, most of the shows in the upcoming season will be presented in 2021. Three smaller productions will take place in late fall in fresh air venues or with generous social distancing.

“NBA Countdown presented by Mountain Dew: NBA Restart,” led by host Maria Taylor and featuring analysts Paul Pierce, Jalen Rose, Jay Williams and ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, will air live,  SATURDAY, JULY 25 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
