Theatre Without Theater is a nightly theatrical broadcast (via Instagram) aiming to fill the current artistic void at curtain time.

IAMA Theatre Company presents the West Coast premiere of Found, a new musical inspired by Davy Rothbart's popular Found Magazine, which features scores of actual discarded notes and letters that have been 'found' in the real world by everyday people.

Disney Junior's animated series 'Mira, Royal Detective' will premiere in the U.S. on FRIDAY, MARCH 20 (11:00 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior). Disney Channel India will also be premiering a sneak-peek that same day, followed by the series premiere on Sunday, March 22. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series introduces a brave and resourceful girl named Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. Following its premiere in the U.S. and India, the series will roll out worldwide in an estimated 160 countries on Disney Channel and Disney Junior platforms globally.

IAMA Theatre Company's latest production FOUND will be opening Thursday February 20, 2020 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Helmed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, this new musical based on Davy Rothbart's popular Found Magazine, features an array of familiar Los Angeles stage talents including: Jordan Kai Burnett, Sheila Carrasco, Parvesh Cheena, Desi Dennis-Dylan, Tom DeTrinis, Zehra Fazal, Ryan W. Disney Junior has ordered a second season of 'Mira, Royal Detective' ahead of its spring 2020 debut. The news was announced last night by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and general manager, Disney Junior, during a special advance screening of the series in Burbank, California. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen and travels throughout her kingdom to help royals and commoners alike.

Open Fist's clever, hilarious World Premiere musical adaptation of Neil Simon's MUSICAL FOOLS is a hilarious musical adaptation of his play, Fools, with book and lyrics by Simon, and music and lyrics by Phil Swann and Ron West, a veteran comedy genius from Chicago's Second City, who has directed the laugh fest like a Monty Python version of Fiddler on the Roof performed by the original Not Ready for Prime Time Players. Off-the-wall hysterical choreography by Louisa Kendrick Burton greatly enhances the comedy, with musical direction by Jan Roper often adding in the flavor of Eastern European Klezmer music.

Disney Junior's 'The Rocketeer,' a new comedic, animated adventure series featuring a young girl named Kit Secord, who takes to the skies to protect her community after becoming the surprise recipient of a rocket-pack that gives her the ability to fly, will premiere FRIDAY, NOV. 8, on Disney Channel (11:00 a.m. EDT), Disney Junior (5:00 p.m. EDT) and DisneyNOW. Inspired by Dave Stevens' beloved superhero comic books and Walt Disney Pictures feature film, the series stars Kitana Turnbull ('A Series of Unfortunate Events') as Kit, and Billy Campbell and Kathy Najimy as her parents, Dave and Sareena Secord. Campbell is best-known for starring as Cliff Secord in 'The Rocketeer' film.

A new comedic, animated adventure series 'The Rocketeer'—inspired by Dave Stevens' beloved superhero comic books and Walt Disney Pictures feature film—follows Kit Secord after she learns she's secretly next in line to become The Rocketeer, a rocket- pack wearing superhero who can fly. The series will debut on Disney Channel and Disney Junior this fall with actor Billy Campbell, who starred as Cliff Secord in 'The Rocketeer' film, as the voice of Dave Secord, Kit's father. Kathy Najimy (Hocus Pocus) will voice Kit's mother, Sareena Secord, and Kitana Turnbull (A Series of Unfortunate Events) stars as Kit. The news was announced today during Disney Television Animation's panel at San Diego Comic-Con International.
