Disney Branded Television has released the main title theme song and announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated animated musical series “Disney Jr.’s Ariel.” Inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” the series will debut on THURSDAY, JUNE 27, on Disney Junior (9:00 a.m. EDT/PDT) and air on Disney Channel later that day, with an initial batch of eight episodes available on Disney+ the following day, FRIDAY, JUNE 28. Audible Inc. has announced a new slate of original comedy podcasts with longtime collaborators, Broadway Video Enterprises. In addition to new originals, Audible greenlit the second season of the hit Audible Original, Hot White Heist.

Casting has been announced for weeks four and five of The Blank Theatre's 30th Annual Young Playwrights Festival. Being presented as digital shorts, the final three of 12 winning plays by young playwrights aged 15–19 will be available to stream on Vimeo July 22– August 11.

Since its premiere in March 2020 and for more than 100 stories, 'Mira, Royal Detective' has highlighted the rich, diverse cultures of India. Each episode centers on the clever heroine Mira and her friends, including her sleuthing mongoose sidekicks Mikku and Chikku, as they help others by solving mysteries in their kingdom community of Jalpur.

Offerman joins previously announced series stars William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, with Skyler Gisondo, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden, Gabriela Cartol rounding out series leads and Ben Sinclair, Parvesh Cheena, Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, Michael Hitchcock and Becky Ann Baker as recurring guest stars.

A familiar face on the screen, both big and small, writer/performer Danny Pudi will present his autobiographical film Running on Stellar’s streaming platform beginning January 22, 2022. Three South Asian-led arts organizations, Hypokrit Productions, East West Players, and EnActe Arts have collaborated on this exclusive presentation directed by HP Artistic Director Arpita Mukherjee. Centaurworld follows a war horse who is transported from her embattled world to a strange land inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all species, shapes, and sizes.

The Broadway star-studded cast also includes Kimiko Glenn (Horse), Megan Hilty (Wammawink), Parvesh Cheena (Zulius), Josh Radnor (Durpleton), series creator Megan Nicole Dong (Glendale), and Chris Diamantopoulos (Ched).

The plays are Let Me In by Zander Pryor (age 18, from Dallas, TX); Living With It by Libby Eick (age 16, from McLean, VA); and A House With a Broken Swing by Isabel Tongson (age 16, from Winter Park, FL).
