A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Alliance Theatre's annual holiday production, returns to the Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre November 12 – December 24, 2021. 

Out of Hand Theater has released a vaccine promotion comedy called Do it For Grandma, produced in partnership with CoolCoolCool Productions. The short video features Atlanta Comedian Mark Kendall and Atlanta Actress Parris Sarter.

The Tank announced today three upcoming CYBERTANK Productions. A Simple Herstory is a new podcast series created by Jocelyn Kuritsky (The Muse Project) highlighting the women who have run for President of the United States. The inaugural season, focusing on Victoria Woodhull, launches Tuesday October 27, 2020.

Kai and a time-traveling talisman together create a theatrical tour-de-force in an impressionistic, free-associating series of narrative vignettes written by Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright, Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple, and Vine).

Horizon Theatre Company is continuing its 35th Anniversary Season with a production from the writer of TV's biggest hit, This Is Us - Bekah Brunstetter! THE CAKE, a touching new comedy, will hit the Little Five Points stage from May 17 - June 23, 2019.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2017-2018 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, August 27, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by Synchronicity Theatre, at 7:30pm, One Peachtree Pointe, 1545 Peachtree St. NE #102, Atlanta.  

Actor's Express will produce the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches and Part Two: Perestroika. Co-directed by Freddie Ashley and Martin Damien Wilkins, Angels in America will run in rep, allowing audiences some opportunities to see both plays in one day. Performances are January 12 through February 17.

The winners of the 13th Annual Suzi Bass Awards have been decided!

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2016-2017 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, September 18, to patrons and industry artists.

Synchronicity Theatre will present the regional premiere of Danai Gurira's historic Eclipsed, which tracks the lives of five Liberian women and their tales of survival near the end of the Second Liberian Civil War.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, continues its string of successful comedies from Atlanta playwright Topher Payne with the premiere of Greetings Friend Your Kind Assistance Is Required. The production runs January 5th through 22nd, 2017 at the theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Veteran Atlanta director and actor Shannon Eubanks will be reunited with playwright Payne to once again direct his latest comedy. Sponsorship for this production is graciously provided by the Robert W. Hagan Family Foundation.

Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with Atlanta playwright Topher Payne about his new show, Greetings Friend Your Kind Assistance is Required, premiering at Georgia Ensemble Theater on January 5 and running through the 22nd. A fun and quirky guy, Topher was a delight to talk to, and I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of conversations Greetings Friend Your Kind Assistance is Required will spark.
