The New York Burlesque Festival Turns 20 This Year

The New York Burlesque Festival is the largest and most acclaimed festival of its kind in the world, attracting sold-out crowds since its premiere in 2003.  This September marks the 20th year for this celebrated event, and producers, Thirsty Girl & Angie Pontani will once again, serve up 4 nights of glitter and glamour in Gotham, with over 100 eye-popping performances from international leading burlesque and variety entertainers at some of NYC's hottest venues.

Hub Theatre Company of Boston will return to in-person performances this summer with the Boston premiere of Wendy MacLeod's Slow Food, directed by Daniel Bourque, Saturday, July 16 through Saturday, July 30 at Club Café, 209 Columbus Ave. in Boston's Back Bay. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
