59E59 Theaters has announced productions for the Brits Off Broadway 2023 Season, their annual celebration of U.K. theatre.

Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater embarks on The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon Saturday, March 25 at 3 p.m. with Enchantment Theatre Company's new live production that takes the whole family on an imaginative journey. With a game of cricket and two of the greatest playwrights at its heart, Original Theatre's stage premiere of Shomit Dutta's witty new play Stumped will tour in 2023 to Theatre Royal Bath (23 – 27 May), Cambridge Arts Theatre (5 – 10 June) and Hampstead Theatre (16 June – 22 July). 

Renaissance Theatre Company presents local legend Tymisha Harris starring in her acclaimed “Josephine” March 9-19, 2023.  Josephine is a biographical musical that combines cabaret, theatre and dance to tell the story of the iconic Josephine Baker, the first Black international superstar and one of the most remarkable figures of the 20th Century. 

RADIO 477!, a new theatrical production about the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv in 1929 and today –  in collaboration with the prominent Ukrainian literary figure Serhiy Zhadan – will debut at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St. in Manhattan), with performances beginning March 10 through March 19, it has been announced by Mia Yoo, La MaMa's artistic director.

By popular demand, WAM Theatre has announced the return of its acclaimed Elder and Teen Ensembles. This Spring, WAM invites Berkshire-based women over 65 and teens ages 13-18 to join the company on a  journey of empowerment through creativity, teamwork, and devised theatre. WAM's Elder Ensemble launched with a Meet & Greet in December; WAM is currently accepting applications for its 2023 Teen Ensemble now through March 10.

A Nice Indian Boy by Madhuri Shekar and directed by Zi Alikhan will have its regional premiere in Olney Theatre Center’s Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab in a production featuring the work of one of the fastest rising and prolific American playwrights working.

Tiresias the Oracle (aka Evan Silver) will be presenting cryptochrome from Thursday, January 19 to Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 7:30PM each night at We Are Here (563 Johnson Ave, Bushwick, NY) as part of the Exponential Festival.
