BritBox and the BBC have released first-look pictures of Towards Zero, based on the classic mystery by the best-selling author of all time, Agatha Christie.

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together.

The Carmel International Arts Festival has announced winners from this fall's competition. There were 148 entries from Carmel High School and University High School, both in Carmel, IN. This is up from 100 last year and from 66 in 2021.

Written and created by BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Marnie Dickens and based on B.E. Jones’ novel of the same name, Wilderness is a tale of betrayal from the intoxicating pull of an affair to the devastation it leaves behind. The series features the opening titles track by Taylor Swift. Following its globally acclaimed first season, Apple TV+ has announced a season two renewal for “Surface,” the hit psychological thriller starring and executive produced by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and created by Veronica West. Led by star Mbatha-Raw, “Surface” is produced by Apple Studios and Hello Sunshine.

The ensemble cast starring alongside Mbatha-Raw includes Oliver Jackson-Cohen (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Stephan James (“If Beale Street Could Talk”), Ari Graynor (“I’m Dying Up Here”), Academy Award-nominee Marianne Jean-Baptiste (“Secrets & Lies”), François Arnaud (“I Killed My Mother”) and Millie Brady (“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”).

From the producers of The Haunting of Hill House comes a new ghost story. The Haunting of Bly Manor arrives October 9th, only on Netflix. The Haunting of Bly Manor stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve.

The Haunting of Bly Manor is the follow-up to 2018's The Haunting of Hill House. Arriving October 9th, this new chapter in the Haunting anthology series revolves around Bly Manor and the lives of its inhabitants, both living and dead.

Cameron Mackintosh presents Les Misérables - The Staged Concert with a company of over 65 running until 30 November 2019 at the intimate Gielgud Theatre, next door to the home of Les Misérables at the recently re-named Sondheim Theatre.

As rehearsals begin for Les Miserables -The Staged Concert, Cameron Mackintosh introduces Shan Ako and Lily Kerhoas who complete the principal casting as Eponine and Cosette respectively. They join the previously announced Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Thenardier, Rob Houchen as Marius, Bradley Jaden as Enjolras, Katy Secombe as Madame Thenardier and, for three performances a week, John Owen-Jones as Jean Valjean.

George Wein is known the world over as producer and co-founder of the Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals, but it is playing the piano that first stole his heart nearly nine decades ago. Newport Festivals Foundation (NFF) will present George Wein in One More Once, a free Bridgefest concert in celebration of his life as a musician and his love for Newport, on Thursday, August 1, 6:30 pm, on the Quad Stage at Fort Adams State Park.
