The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is offering nearly two dozen amazing and audience-wowing shows and events during the month of March.

EXPO CHICAGO, the international exposition of contemporary & modern art, today announced the list of exhibitors for its ninth edition, April 7 – 10, 2022 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall (600 E. Grand Ave). Marking the exposition's first in-person return since its 2019 edition, EXPO CHICAGO will welcome more than 140 leading galleries representing 25 countries and 65 cities from around the world.

The Exponential Festival presents and promotes experimental performances created by New York-based artists working across all mediums. The works will be presented this January on Exponential's YouTube channel and Twitch.

Ok, I’m going to date myself. Growing up I remember watching a wonderful little film called The Red Balloon. It started out as a book by Albert Lamorisse for which he then turned into a movie starring his son in 1956. It told the story of a little boy and an unlikely friendship he ends up having with a red balloon. The film had no dialogue and also had some really good photography shot on location in Paris.

The Bourbon Room Hollywood is set to officially reopen as Hollywood's hottest new live music, entertainment, and dining destination. The Paul Taylor Dance Company has announced additions to the organization. Jessica Ferretti and Austin Kelly have joined the world-renowned Company, and Michael Apuzzo and alumnus Richard Chen See will join the administrative team.

Tonight, NBC will air its sixth live musical production. Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Jesus Christ Superstar, the peacock network will be presenting Annie. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

Community Life presents A Christmas Carol from December 9th through December 12th, 2021. 

The whole family can expect to be entranced once more by the production's lavish scenes and costumes, from the Victorian Christmas party to the Kingdom of Sweets, as world-class professional dancers perform alongside pre-professional and student performers.

The Taylor Organization is presenting its 2021 fall benefit experiences. Modern is Now: Illumination features a series of intimate, in-person events beginning October 18, culminating in a special hour-long virtual program benefitting the Company hosted by Taylor Artistic Director Michael Novak and airing FREE on Thursday, November 18, at 8:00 p.m. 

AstonRep Theatre Company will welcome back audiences this fall with a revival of Yasmina Reza's frenetic dark comedy God of Carnage, translated by Christopher Hampton and co-directed by directed by Derek Bertelsen* and Robert Tobin*.

Artisan Children's Theater will present MATILDA THE MUSICAL JR. at its 150 seat Second Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. The show runs October 15 through November 13, 2021. Performances are Fridays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am and 12:00pm, with additional 12:00pm shows November 2 and 9, 2021.
