The Skivvies are back at the new venue The Midnight Theatre this month! There will be two shows on May 24 at 7pm and 9:30pm. 

Waiting In The Wings: The Musical was an multi-award winning film that played in festivals throughout the world, including in Africa, Canada, Australia, and Germany.  The film included many film icons, including Shirley Jones, Lee Meriwether, Sally Struthers, and Christopher Atkins.  

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present Broadway’s hunky gay ex-Mormon dad Claybourne Elder, star of Company, Sunday in the Park…, and HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” on Friday, April 28 at 9:30 PM

The winners have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Los Angeles Awards, honoring the best in regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Austin’s oldest film festival, aGLIFF will present the January 2023 screening of BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND by Trevor Anderson on Wednesday, January 25 at the Galaxy Theatres.

Abingdon Theatre Company rang in their 30th anniversary at their annual gala on October 24 at The Edison Ballroom. Stars came out to celebrate Abingdon’s milestone 30th anniversary as ATC honored Legacy Award Recipient Tony Award winner David Zippel and ATC Board President DMW Greer. See photos from the event here!

Joe’s Pub has announced upcoming shows fom October 18 - November 7. Join The Spooky Celebration With The Fourth Annual Bowery Boys Halloween Ghost Story Live Show, shows From Renee Goust & Epic Players, plus more. 

Especially thanks to Spencer Liff’s inventive staging and punchy choreography, the show is either a riotous musical bursting out of the seams of the intimate Bourbon Room or a drag revue elevated with a solid narrative, pristinely-timed punchlines, and innovative novelty routines.

Abingdon Theatre Company (Chad Austin, Artistic Director) has announced additional casting for their upcoming 30th Anniversary Gala on Monday, October 24 at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The star-studded cast will be celebrating Abingdon’s milestone 30th anniversary as ATC honors Tony Award winner David Zippel and ATC Board President DMW Greer. 

Bobby really liked this one for more than just its gayness. It comes across as a fun, funny musical theatre hopeful and we do hope its hopes are realized, as we would totally buy that ticket.

Alaska Thunderf**k 5000's DRAG: The Musical returns to Los Angeles at The Bourbon Room beginning September 23, 2022. Spencer Liff choreographs and directs the cast of Alaska with JuJubee, Jackie Cox, Jan Sport, Joey McIntrye, Nick Adams, Lagoona Bloo, Aria B. Cassadine and Alysha Deslorieux. Alaska managed to find some time for my queries in between promoting her book My Name’s Yours, What’s Alaska? just released last year, and getting ready for her promotional tour for her latest album Red 4 Filth.

Following the triumphant release of its soundtrack last month and a major appearance at this year's LA Drag Con, Alaska Thunderf**k's 'DRAG: The Musical' is set to come alive this PRIDE month with several hotly anticipated events.

The star-studded New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's beloved musical, Into the Woods, officially opened on Broadway at the St. James Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos of all of the stars on the red carpet here!

The Skivvies are turning ten and employing the help of some special guests to celebrate. Get ready for the star studded lineup of Nick Adams, Tovah Feldshuh, Beth Malone, Lesli Margherita, Nathan Lee Graham, Aaron Marcellus, Marissa Rosen, Diana Huey , Leslie McDonel, and Jordan Kai Burnett. The performance will be 7pm on July 19th at Joe's Pub.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW will present Leaves: Songs of Ourselves on June 27th, 2022 – a celebration of the iconic Walt Whitman, inspired by his Song of Myself: “I celebrate myself, and what I assume you shall assume, for every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.”
