Abingdon Theatre Company, now in its 22nd Season of developing and producing new plays by emerging and established playwrights, has announced Craig J. Horsley as its new Managing Director.
TheatreWorks New Milford, in association with the New York Theatre Barn (The Barn), will be conducting a workshop of Sticks + Stones, a new musical by Joe Barros and Vince Peterson that explores bullying through the eyes of children. This program will be presented as part of the TWKids Season and enrollment is open to children ages 8-18.

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company announces Katya Stanislavskaya's Resident Alien as the winner of its ninth annual New Musical Award. The only honor of its kind in the country, the Weston New Musical Award supports a high quality demo of a new work by writers and composers of notable promise, chosen from a group of national nominations.
Composer-Lyricist-Bookwriter Mary Liz McNamara is currently working on Body and Soul based on the 2009 documentary by filmmaker Alice Elliott. Excerpts from Body and Soul were seen at New York Theater Barn in October 2014. Awards: 2013 Bistro Award for Songwriting, 2011 BMI Foundation Harrington Award for creative achievement in musical theater, two MAC awards and six ASCAP PLUS awards. Mary Liz is a frequent NYC performer, and her songs are performed by cabaret and musical theater artists across the country. She is a member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop (as a composer/lyricist and a librettist), and about a million other performing arts unions and organizations. Her song 'Bacon' was used in an episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance.'
Pittsburgh CLO will welcome the newest members of the cast of Murder For Two to the CLO Cabaret, November 26 - January 18. Point Park University alums Brandon Lambert and John Wascavage will debut as 'Marcus' and 'The Suspects' this Wednesday evening, and continue their run through January 18.
