Lone Star Theatre Company is proud to announce that David Davila's Animal Husbandry will premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival this October 2019. This will be Lone Star Theatre's first full production after eight years of successfully bringing a?oeTexas Pages to New York Stagesa?? through its on-going reading, one-act play, and concert series. With direction by Sidney Erik Wright and starring David Michael Kirby and Daniel Anthony Hidalgo, Animal Husbandry will open October 10th at the Under St. Mark's Theater. 

Irondale, a home for cutting edge, artist-driven theater and the home of the Irondale Ensemble, will host four plays during the October month-long FringeBYOV Festival. The only Brooklyn based venue to welcome audiences to the Festival, Irondale is an official host of the FringeBYOV segment of The NEW York International Fringe Festival and will co-present nearly 15 performances: Wolfpack, October 16-18, The Four of Us, October 17-19, Savana Glacial, October 23-24, 30, and Update, October 25-26.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team of the riveting West Coast premiere of Noura by Heather Raffo (the award-winning 9 Parts of Desire, the opera Fallujah), a graduate of The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program. Loosely inspired by Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, Noura received the prestigious Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Original New Play and the L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award. Directed by Johanna McKeon (Off Broadway's I Have Loved Strangers and Tokio Confidential), Noura begins performances September 20, 2019 and runs through October 20 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Through songs that Judy made iconic, Alexis honors the memory of the starlet that became the World's Greatest Entertainer. The new arts organization, From Scratch Performance Company, has named Robert Liebowitz to the position of Artistic Director. Liebowitz, a 40-year veteran of independent theater opens his tenure - and the company itself - with an inaugural gala offering a potpourri of performances from new 10-minute plays by a diverse group of playwrights to new dance & musical pieces.

Bated Breath Theatre Company announces a third extension of their acclaimed immersive, environmental production UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC. Performances will now continue through October 30 at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village, where it began on May 8.
