Internationally renowned Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese, will ring in 2020 with a spectacular New Year's Eve Gala at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Metropolitan Opera presents Puccini's Madama Butterfly, conducted by Pier Giorgio Morandi, with performances beginning October 11, 2019. Hui He returns to the role of the doomed geisha Cio-Cio-San.

Hui He stars as Cio-Cio-San, the devoted geisha who gives everything for the American naval officer Pinkerton, sung by Andrea Carè. Elizabeth DeShong is her devoted companion Suzuki, and Brazilian baritone Paulo Szot adds a new role to his Met repertory as Sharpless, a role that he has previously sung at Marseilles Opera.

By popular demand, Show One Productions presents the anticipated return of the world famous, all-male ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (Trocks), onstage March 7, 2020 at 8pm and March 8, 2020 at 2pm and 7pm at the Winter Garden Theatre. The Hangar Theatre Company fundraiser Bet Your Bottom Dollar: A Night in Monte Carlo will be taking place on Saturday, October 19, to benefit the Hangar's artistic and educational programming.

San Francisco Opera today announced a cast change for Charles Gounod's Romeo and Juliet (Roméo et Juliette), which opens the Company's 97th season on September 6, 2019 and runs for seven performances through October 1 at the War Memorial Opera House. Samoan-born New Zealand tenor Pene Pati, originally scheduled to sing Romeo on October 1, will perform the role in all performances, replacing Bryan Hymel who has withdrawn for personal reasons.

Green Space is pleased to announce a diverse roster of artists for its signature programs this September. Take Root will present an evening of work by ENTERART and ARIM Dance on September 20th and 21st, and Fertile Ground showcases works-in-progress by multiple dance artists on September 22nd. The Company's opening weekend also includes Benjamin Britten's Billy Budd in director Michael Grandage's acclaimed production opening on September 7; and on September 8 San Francisco Chronicle Presents Opera in the Park, the annual free concert tradition celebrating the opening of the opera season.
