Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the second annual Roundabout Directors Group, launched in 2019 to provide career assistance to emerging directors.

For the last week, the extraordinary company of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals have been participating in intensive workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, and producing their own Viral Monologues - and their efforts will all culminate in their own LIVE virtual edition of The 24 Hour Plays, streaming TONIGHT at 8 PM ET.

Tonight, the 2020 company of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will begin their weeklong intensive with their very own edition of the Viral Monologues, available on IGTV.

The Asian American Arts Alliance has announced the selection of Miranda Cornell for its 2020 Van Lier Fellowship. The fellowship includes a $6,000 unrestricted cash award and eight months of professional development training and career support to foster the next milestone of Cornell's artistic career.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the performer lineup for the 2019 Songwriting Workshop public masterclass, led by NYMF Honorary Chair Joe Iconis and Ben Bonnema, and Head and Heart, a presentation from NYMF's Student Leadership Project.

Conceived by Alyssa May Gold and directed by Katie Young?, this epic story of jealousy and betrayal is given a modern day setting at an all-girls high school, where psychological warfare is unyielding. Six young women will play all roles in this coming-of-age story that follows a group of teenagers through their first tastes of power, the desire to seize it, and the life and death battle to keep it.

Pocket Universe presents a new, all-female production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, starring Alyssa May Gold (Arcadia on Broadway, Middle of the Night) as Brutus, Dea Julien (West Side Story 1st Nat'l Tour, Blueprint Specials) as Julius Caesar, Violeta Picayo (BEDLAM's Sense & Sensibility, RadioBABEL) as Mark Antony, Madeline Wolf (Fun Home on Broadway, Normativity) as Cassius, Miranda Cornell (Alter Ego, #Blessed) as Casca, and Amie Tedesco (Lemon Sky, Any Day Now) as Lucius. All other roles will be played by members of the company. The production will run through July 8, 2017 at the Access Theater Gallery Space. Opening night is tonight, June 23.

Semicolon Theatre Company (Producer, Alexa Derman) is proud to present the World Premiere of Zoe Kamil's #BLESSED, directed by Miranda Cornell as part of the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - Fringe NYC. The production will run August 12-28 at Teatro SEA (107 Suffolk Street) with performances on Saturday, August 13 at 4:30pm, Thursday, August 18 at 7:15pm, Sunday, August 21 at 12pm, Wednesday, August 24 at 9:45pm, and Thursday, August 25 at 7pm.
