FULL CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR WISE CHILDREN’S NEW CO-PRODUCTION OF BLUE BEARD - WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY EMMA RICE. The full cast for the world premiere of Blue Beard, written and directed by Emma Rice, includes Isabel Adomakoh Young, Stu Barker, Mirabelle Gremaud, Stephanie Hockley, Patrycja Kujawska, Adam Mirsky, Katy Owen, and Tristan Sturrock. The production opens at Theatre Royal Bath on 8 February and embarks on a UK tour.

Wise Children today announce that Liam Tamne joins the company as Heathcliff for the world première production of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights on 15 March, completing the run at the National ahead of the UK tour. Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the show is a co-production with the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal.

Emma Rice's new version of Wuthering Heights plays in the Lyttelton theatre with performances from Thursday 3 February until Saturday 19 March. A new musical adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers is heading to Storyhouse during Summer 2020.

David Pugh will present Emma Rice's critically acclaimed musical adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, originally created with Wise Children. This new production will be co-produced with Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, where the production will open on 27 March 2020, before going on a national tour, concluding at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall, where it will play from 27 July to 31 August, with national press performances on 31 July, 1 and 2 August.

A thrilling re-imagining of Peter Pan flies into Birmingham Repertory Theatre for Christmas 2019. Directed by Liam Steel, this new staging of the classic story will play from 30 November to 19 January.

At first glance, Enid Blyton's Malory Towers seems an odd choice for the second outing of Emma Rice's Wise Children theatre company. A genteel tale of a privileged girl's boarding school in Cornwall with mild peril and even milder themes doesn't seem like classic Rice.

Wise Children's adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, co-produced by York Theatre Royal in association with Bristol Old Vic, will star Rebecca Collingwood as Gwendoline Lacey, Mirabelle Gremaud as Irene Bartlett, Vinnie Heaven as Bill Robinson, Izuka Hoyle as Darrell Rivers, Renee Lamb as Alicia Johns, Francesca Mills as Sally Hope and Rose Shalloo as Mary Lou Atkinson. Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the musical opens on 25 July 2019 at The Passenger Shed in the company's home city of Bristol, before embarking on a national tour to Cambridge, York, Exeter, Manchester and Oxford.

More2Screen today announces the cinema release of the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Angela Carter's Wise Children which will be screened in more than 250 cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 3 October 2019.
