Pasadena Playhouse's Little Shop of Horrors is now on stage through through October 20!

Next up at Pasadena Playhouse, the sci-fi musical comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, already in previews, will open September 25, 2019. Promising new twists and surprises, this cult hit written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken over thirty-five years ago, will be directed by Mike Donahue. I had a chance to throw out a few questions to Olivier Award-winner Amber Riley who's playing Audrey II.

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, has completed casting for Little Shop of Horrors which comes to the Playhouse September 17 through October 20; the press opening is September 25.

It only feels appropriate that the Bucks County Playhouse's 80th Anniversary Season would kick off with a play as historic and celebrated as the theater itself. Dial M For Murder, the play by Frederick Knott, made most famous by Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 film adaption, was brought to life last night on the Bucks County stage in a breathlessly exciting mix of intrigue and adrenaline.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) has announced the launch of The Playhouse Institute, a new educational arm of the non-profit Playhouse designed to offer training for constituencies ranging from professional educators to members of the corporate community by utilizing theater and communication skills. Participants in the Institute will receive continuing education credits as The Playhouse was recently certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as an Act 48 provider.
