MCC THEATER today announced the complete cast and creative team for the first show of the 2018/19 season: the New York Premiere production of Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, written by Jen Silverman, and directed by MCC alum Mike Donahue

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 13th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $45 at the door. The World Premiere of Don Nguyen's Hello, From the Children of Planet Earth opens tonight, on March 7 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Presented by The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) and directed by Jade King Carroll, this philosophical, and tender comedy is split between the perspectives of a lesbian couple trying to conceive, and their potential-sperm-donor/aerospace engineer friend as they're stretched to contemplate the unknowns of their future.

Cherry Lane Theatre has announced casting for the first production of the Obie award-winning MENTOR PROJECT now in its 20th season. Kate Cortesi's A PATRON OF THE ARTS, is being presented at Cherry Lane (38 Commerce St.) from March 1- 10, 2018, it has been announced by Seri Lawrence and Janio Marrero, Cherry Lane's Co-Artistic Directors.  Angelina Fiordellisi is Cherry Lane's Founding Artistic Director. As they each grapple with potentially life-altering decisions, we as audience members---in the span of 80 mesmerizing, uninterrupted minutes---grow to care about these fictional (but wonderfully realistic) people and, therefore, empathize and feel their struggle alongside them as they try to make reasonable pro-and-con arguments. We become so invested in what each person is dealing with that we're all hoping that ultimately every single one of them will end up satisfied and, at least, a little bit content with their respective decisions no matter which path(s) they choose to follow.
