One may never know what to expect on April Fool's Day, but a one-night-only performance by a Venezuelan-American artist at the GALA Hispanic theatre was certainly one of them.

The leader of the Latinx cabaret and concert community is making some big moves these days.

Venezuelan American performing artist, Migguel Anggelo, a rising force in the national theater scene will be debuting English with an Accent, a hybrid dance-theater work of original music that explores self-realization through the eyes of an anthropomorphized, immigrant caterpillar.

The Public Theater today announced the cancellation of the 18th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 12-30, 2022. According to their web site, 'IMPORTANT UPDATE: Thank you for being a member of The Public Theater community, and Happy New Year. 

Joe’s Pub has announced their winter programming for 2022 starting in January through February with two shows each evening. In addition, the venue will welcome its former sous chef, Ricky Mungaray back to the kitchen as Executive Chef.

The Public Theater announced the full line-up today for the 18th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 12-30, 2022. The innovative festival of The Public’s winter season returns to in-person performances at The Public Theater and partner venues Mabou Mines and PS21 with work by artists from across the U.S. and around the world.

Season subscriptions will go on sale on Tuesday, August 31 at 9:30am, with single tickets becoming available on Wednesday, September 15 at 9:30am. Learn more about the full lineup here!
