Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club and 2022 Tony Awards Honoree for Excellence in the Theatre, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will again present a cast of Harvard and Yale grads and current students in The Eighth Annual Harvard-Yale Cantata: The Eras Tour. To celebrate the Eras, we are including writers and performers from the last eight decades. This show is a competition of Harvard alumni vs. Yale alumni, as performers and writers.

Progressive Arts is recognized as a boutique conservatory and local community theater company for pre-teens, teens, and adults of all abilities and talents. It is inclusive of special needs actors and their families.

Concord Theatricals is launching Kick Off Your Sunday Shoes: The Footloose Competition, which will award ten schools in low-income communities with a complimentary license package to perform Footloose in honor of the stage musical’s upcoming 25th Broadway anniversary.

On Friday, September 30, The Sherman Playhouse will open its third production for the 2022 season, CARRIE: THE MUSICAL, directed by Bradford Blake (2021's WRECK THE HALLS and 2019's CABARET) with music direction by Charles Smith. Produced by Al Chiappetta, the curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. for a four week run.

Cohen with lyrics by Dean Pitchford and music by Michael Gore. CARRIE will be directed by Bradford Blake, with music direction by Charles Smith. The producer is Al Chiappetta.
