Photo Flash: First Look at Lakewood Playhouse's AVENUE Q

The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the Final Showof our 77th Season: The South Sound debut of the Tony Award-Winning Musical celebrating its First Decade on Broadway - AVENUE "Q"!  with Music & Lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx and a Book by Jeff Whitty Michael Frayn!  This production will also mark the conclusion of our year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the very building we do all of our Productions in - The Lakewood Playhouse Theatre!  From "Taming of the Shrew" in its first year to "Avenue Q" at the end of this season, we will have presented over 300 Productions at this venue that was first built for us in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation. Priscilla Beach Theatre presents the popular hit comedy, Noises Off, by Michael Frayn, from today, June 3 through June 11 on its historic barn stage in Plymouth. The show features Theresa Chiasson (Plymouth), Raisa Hoffman (Marshfield), Simon Kisor (Boston), Alexander Munoz (Marshfield), Ashley Wisneski (Melrose), Robb Russ (Lowell), Stewart Smith (Brighton), Eric Joseph (Marshfield) and Frances Saxton (Amherst, NH).

Main Street Theater Sets 2016-17 Season

Everyman Theatre has announced its 2016-2017 season. Hot off its 25th anniversary season that garnered record breaking box office success and the largest annual attendance in company history, Everyman brings its aesthetic for quality storytelling which its audiences have grown to love to three exciting new plays this season- the hilarious and poignant Dot by Colman Domingo, Jen Silverman's hysterical play The Roommate, and for the first time in Everyman's history, the theatre is commissioning a re-imagining of Tony Award nominees Michael John LaChiusa and Ellen Fitzhugh, new musical entitled Los Otros.
