92NY Harkness Dance Center will present a masterclass workshop with renowned ballet dancer Megan Fairchild, offering an exclusive educational opportunity for dancers.

New York City Ballet will present a series of public education programs during its 2026 Winter Season at the David H. Koch Theater. Offerings will include Inside NYCB, Family Saturdays, and movement workshops for children, teens, and adults.

New York City Ballet will present its 2025–26 season of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker at the David H. Koch Theater, beginning November 28. The production will feature the full NYCB company, students from the School of American Ballet, and Balanchine’s classic choreography set to Tchaikovsky’s score.

Sara Mearns is in the spotlight as a principal dancer at New York City Ballet, where she has spent the past two decades of her career. Yet, even at the top of her field, she relies on off-season gigs to cover New York rent on a 37-week contract.

Today’s subject Megan Fairchild has been dancing with New York City Ballet (NYCB) since 2001. She started as an apprentice before joining the company as a member of the corps de ballet. In 2005 she became a principal dancer. NYCB is performing Coppélia week at Kennedy Center in the Opera House and this evening, if you choose to attend as you should, You will see Megan Fairchild perform in the role of Swanilda. If you are unable to attend this evening, the ballet plays through March 30th.
